Great fast greens
Course is in great shape. Greens are fast and challenging. Staff was helpful and nice. Only negative was pace of play. A little slow for me. Will be going back to play again!
Great experience at Monroe C.C.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the weekday senior rate was as low as I’ve found in the area. I’d like to explain my “average” rating for course conditions. The greens were impeccable—fast, consistent, and great condition. But the course is gonna need some water very soon, especially tee boxes and around the greens (fringes, etc.). It’s starting to get a little dry and crusty.
Need cart girl
A cart Person would have been nice! Greens were amazing
Course conditions
Course conditions i’m not very good. Greens are in great shape the layout is great but of the rest of the course needs some TLC.
Bring back the old staff
We have played this course quite a few times. It's only about a half hour from our house, is reasonably priced and is challenging. With it getting dark after 8 now, we were excited to get in 18 holes on a weekday. When we checked in at the pro shop, we started to inquire about being able to play 18 and were cut off, quite rudely, by the person working there.
We have never had any issues with the staff before, so this was a bit of a shock. We played our 9 holes and finished at 5, leaving plenty of time to play 9 more, but it wasn't permitted. Every place we have been to allows you to pay for 18, if you start before 4. If you don't finish, they made their money. Guess the country club wasn't interested in making a bigger sale.
Nice course
The rounds here are always enjoyable… pace of play is usually fine course is always in great shape.
Good greens, not fairways
Found pretty good greens, but fairways are in poor condition. Hope they grow in better. Tabletop greens are hard to hold on the front nine. I like the back nine better. Range is too far. Clubhouse is minimal.
Fairways Need Work
The greens were in good condition, but the fairways were in very bad shape. Very little grass to hit off of except for the many clumps of weeds. The weeds need to be killed and the bermuda need to be fertilized and watered.
I Love This Course
Such a great track!! I always have such a great time out here. Course is always in great shape. MCC is my go to course in Charlotte. Pace of place is always nice!

5) OK for a cheap casual round.
