Monroe Country Club

Course was in very good condition - greens were fast. First time players- we had fun and will return - very good value especially for seniors. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Driving range is in a separate area about 4 minutes by golf cart.

Course was in fair condition with very fast greens. Showed up an hour early to hit balls on the range to be told the range was closed due to the rain the previous day. They then opened the range 30 mins later, but wouldn’t sell me a bucket of balls because my tee time was in 25 mins and it apparently takes 10 minutes to drive to the range and 10 minutes to get back. Overall the course was good for the price it cost to play, but I probably won’t return.

The greens, although recently dressed, putted true. The dressing affected the "bite" ability somewhat. The sandtraps had plenty of sand, although others failed to use the rakes provided as common golf etiquette dictates. Tee boxes were worn and thin.

The course itself is a nicely laid out and challenging for a wide range of golfers - not too easy, not too hard.

Too bad one can't buy a sandwich and a beer, only packaged snacks and soft drinks, etc.

Elevated Greens are certainly a challenge especially if you are long and go over the green. The greens being sanded were extremely quick. I played 10 plus strokes above my normal. I did miss playing the back nine which apparently opened when we made the turn but were not told of such despite going into the club house to use the bathroom.

This course is beautiful and amazing. The greens are fantastic! The 18th is the gorgeous! The best hole to play!

The layout is great and the course is very fun to play. The greens break more than you would think. Love this place.
