Solid Course - Always Consistently In Great Shape.
Currently renovating which is great but always causes things to be hectic. Course is always in great shape. Little upset they punched the greens and we had no idea. However I will say they did an absolutely amazing job making sure the greens still rolled pretty good considering they had been recently punched.
fine course
The only reason the course is difficult is because the greens a very small. Greens are in good shape. course is wide open and a few balls from other holes intrude. it fun, but you need to have a wedge game.
Would recommend
Course is in great shape. Staff is nice and accommodating. Pace of play was good—not a lot of waiting on groups ahead. This is a really nice course at a good price.
Monroe 515 Review
Course was in decent condition considering all the rain we have had lately. However due to a gas leak 2 holes were shortened significantly. The greens, fairways and bunkers were very good this round. I just had too many errant shots and miss d too many putts for a an enjoyable game. As expected the ball sometimes found mud or bare ground.
Nice Corse Horrible Staff
Course is nice and quite affordable for the condition, unfortunately the staff make it hard to want to come back. My first time here I had the opening tee time but due to a “frost delay” (about 55 degree and sunny) my partner and I didn’t get to go out until 2 hours past our tee time. On top of that they forgot to call our name and then we got stuck behind multiple foursomes despite having the first tee time. After being there for 5 hours we gave up after 9-10 holes.
I decided I to try it one more time, this time I brought my 4 month pregnant wife and her brother who was in town to walk 9 and get some exercise (paid for 3 people). We were a couple of minutes late so the starter wasn’t happy (understandable) but what wasn’t understandable were several derogatory comments about my wife's tattoos and my and my brother in law’s swing off the first tee. He then proceeded then meet us at three separate holes to tell us “not to come back” unless we have multiple sets clubs because we were “holding up play”. We played best ball, let one group play through who caught up to us, otherwise nobody was behind us the rest of play,
After sharing my experience with the clubhouse they did absolutely nothing about it and didn’t even apologize. Nice course but spend your money elsewhere. Last time I checked golf is supposed to be fun.
Pace of play was very slow at the start but was acknowledged by the staff and corrected by hole 7. Greens were hard but rolled well
Good course conditions as usual
The greens rolled well. I’m always impressed with the maintenance of the greens.
Good course... better value
Overall the course is in really good shape. Green were exceptionally in really good shape.
Hidden Gem
I only found this course because it was close to where my company put me up for a job in Charlotte. Great course with two different nines. Front is tight but short, back is more forgiving but you won't make up strokes there. The greens are true, they aren't as slow as they look or as fast as you think they would be.
Great value
Course was in good shape. Greens are in great shape. The course itself is a great layout... very forgiving. I will definitely add Monroe CC as to one course in my rotation of play.
Course they is in below average condition April 2025
I’ve played this course many times over the past year and greens and most of the course is in below average condition as of April 2025…. This course and its greens were in excellent condition all of last summer. Still enjoy the course but it probably peaks closer to June given the Bermuda Grass fairways.
