River Bend YMCA Golf Course

My wife and I had heard good things about River Bend and finally got to play it. We really enjoyed it. They have some beautiful holes. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Greens were good speed and fair. I would recommend this course

I would recooked playing here. The employees are very nice and the guy actually charged me less due to them offering a lower price. Course was in good shape, nice range and some challenging holes.

YMCA river bend was overall a good course. The greens were immaculate and the best part of the course. The layout was ok and the fairways were fine. I would most definitely play again, solely because the greens are as good as they are. Fun little track, give it a go.

Most of the recent reviews of this course highlighted the conditions of the greens. The greens and bunkers are definitely in good shape. The rest of the course, maybe not quite as much. The bones of a solid layout are there and I definitely enjoyed playing the course. Definitely under priced given the layout.

Greens look really good. Super fast but it a nice course to play.

This is by and far the best golf course in the area for the money. Played with my regular foursome on Friday for $29 each. The greens were the best around, rolling 11 on the stimp meter. (I stood there and watched the guy checking the green speed). The fairways haven’t come in yet because we are still in the dormant season. But in a few weeks the fairways should fill in and it will be pristine. We all had a great time!

This has to be one of the best course I’ve played around charlotte area. Greens were fantastic and very well maintained but very fast as well.

Would come play here again.

Got out Sunday afternoon for a round at River Bend. You can search high and low in the area, but you will not find a better set of greens than River Bend has. They are firm, fast, and roll great. One thing I would say, is cut the break you read on them in half. The ball never moves as much as it looks! The rest of the course is just in ok shape. Its still too early in the spring to pass judgement on that. It has not been warm enough yet for the bermuda to be consistent. However, the greens are so outstanding. Its well worth an hour drive to play here with the shape of the greens.

The greens at Riverbend are in better shape than most Country Clubs in our area. Great job Phil and team.

Greens were in excellent shape. Course was wet due to heavy rain a few days earlier. Always enjoy playing there especially with the golf pass discount
