River Bend YMCA Golf Course

RiverBend is a great local course. A very diverse course with a lot of different types of holes that is in great shape. They have some of the best greens in the area. Fast and smooth and look really good. The fairways were also in really good shape. Pretty well grown in and full. If you get off the fairways there are some rough patches but that’s to be expected. The price for the course you get is very good too for $29. This course is well worth a drive of an hour or so to play for the conditions and the price.

Actually played 2 days in a row. This course is in amazing shape and obviously well maintained. The greens were immaculate, fast, and challenging! Some of the best tee boxes I’ve seen in a while. Overall a very challenging course with a few water holes that make you completely weigh out your options! Friendly staff that went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Definitely want to play this course again!

These have to be the best greens for a public corse I have played in years. Nice staff and good pace of play on a Saturday morning

A straightforward layout. Greens are really quick and hard to read. I burned the edges all day but couldn’t get em to drop.

I’ve played Riverbend a few times in the past, and have always been impressed with the conditions of the course. Today was no different. The greens were in amazing shape (best I’ve played on this year…bar none). The fairways were coming in pretty good. The rough was definitely grown-up, so if you were off target…you were going to pay for it. But the course was fair. The times I was in the deep rough, I had no one to blame but me. Now, if only my driver and putter could be on like they were today all the time. Lol! If you haven’t played here, give it a shot…you won’t be disappointed.

Another good experience, fast pace, excellent greens, great staff. I always like playing this course. Only suggestion is to put rakes in the bunkers...

These greens are amazing. Fairways were great even after a monsoon the previous day. Love this course

First time playing here. Will definitely be back. Entire course was in very good condition. Greens conditions probably the best of anywhere around. Friendly staff and excellent value!!

This course knows how to maintain greens. Huge, super fast, receptive greens that are as close to perfect as u can get. A beach type bermuda that putts true. The front side has a great layout while the back is not quite as interesting as front but still good. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Easy play. Not necessarily Easy on difficulty, just nice easy flow. Short between holes. Can play under 4hours. Best greens around. Watch out for lots of junior golfers after school. Need to repair one par4 on front none that has been modified to par3 temporarily.

Went out Saturday to check it out and it is a wonderful course. It’s been raining here off/on for weeks. The course held up nicely and the greens were perfect.

Course is very nice, excellent greens, staff is great. BUT even with 90 degree cart rule on most holes TOO MUCH WALKING especially for older players. Exit fairway signs sometimes 60-80 even 100 yards from greens. Totally understand protecting the course but for older or physically limited players itll be a challenge.
