Enjoyable round
Fairways and roughs in good condition.. Sand traps in fair condition and all were power-raked. Greens were somewhat hard even though the course was wet and did not hold the approach shot well. The greens putted true, were medium speed.
Great country course!
This course is a ways of the beaten path! We enjoyed every aspect of the course! I would recommend it based on condition and price!!!
Diamond in the rough
Found this golf course in seemingly no where and enjoyed playing twice while in the Gaffney, SC area. All staff from pro shop to cart barn to mowers were friendly, outgoing, and personable. Greens were true and fast. Course has sustained lots of damage from Hurricane Helene but was cleaned up quickly so golfers could play. Mitch was exceptionally nice and appreciative of us playing there. Will definitely play again when in the area.
Dollar well spent
Course conditions were great pace of play a little slow but r we were a threesom best greens in Cleveland County wood definitely recommend
Challenging course if played from the correct tees
Fairways and roughs in good condition. Sand traps had soft sand. Greens held the approach shot, putted true, were medium speed.
Being my first (but not last) visit to river bend I was pleasantly surprised. Except for some very wet areas the course was in excellent conditions. The greens were a bit fast but that just added to the challenge of the course. Especially on some of those downhill putts! Fairways & rough areas were all in good condition and very playable. Staff was extremely nice. If you are looking for a fairly open course with its share of challenging holes this would be a good choice.
Best Greens Around
I always enjoy playing golf at Riverbend! The greens are immaculate, great layout and price is unbeatable. If you haven’t ever played here I recommend giving it a shot!
Nice course
Greens are fast and the course is in awesome shape. The snack stand has sandwiches , hotdogs, drinks and snacks. The pro shop staff is great. The course has a rule no singles on fri,sat or sun but they got me out today so just beware.
