Great course well maintained , Some good challenging holes great greens. Try it once

The round at Talamore was both challenging and satisfying. The course was in spectacular condition. The greens were moderately fast and very smooth. The Talamore staff were all friendly and professional. The layout was excellent with holes that turned both right and left. The length of the par threes varied and were manageable. The key is to select a set of tees that match the ability of the golfer. The overall round was a pleasure.

I have not been to this course in more than 10 years and was absolutely stunned at how perfect the conditions were and the newly renovated clubhouse.

Play 36 holes and loved every minute.

Talamore was a great experience, we played on a weekday recently and we had the course to ourselves, we didn’t see another group until the 16th. It was my first time at the course and I was pleasantly surprised with the layout and conditions. The course was in great condition and the layout always kept you guessing. The only criticism I have is the greens were a little hairy and could have been a bit faster. The club house and surrounding areas are in a bit of disarray as they are doing a clubhouse renovation so the halfway house was a bit underwhelming. Also as it stands I don’t think I would pay $100 again to play, I think $80-$90 is a more appropriate price point.

Played Talamore today.. and I thought I’ve played good courses in my life but this course is definitely the best I’ve played so far. It makes the courses I thought were good seem like child play. Beautiful fairways, beautiful course layout, unmatched greens. Most fun I’ve had playing golf in a bit, not overly challenging but tests all areas of your game, doesn’t overly punish you and a course you must play at least once in your life. What an amazing experience.

First played Talamore two weeks ago, love it. Didn’t have anything going on so I booked a tee time and brought my wife to see the course and the llamas. The course is in great shape and the the drive from Raleigh is relaxing so I’ll probably be back again soon. Also, my wife bought one of those sweet white hats with the green llamas and I’m jealous. It would be worth the drive just for the hat.

Was first out with buddy so cruised around in 3 hrs. Course was in great condition. Greens firm and fast despite recent rains (6+ inches in prior week). Practice green was immaculate and prepared you for the round. Driving range was very nice and you hit off grass. Some bunkers had ruts from rains and a few had water.

Course is spread out so not walker friendly as long walks from greens to tees.

Holes are varied with nice mix or doglegs left and right. Not a tight course but trouble lurks if you spray it.

Would definitely play again.

Good track. Greens need another 2 weeks. The fairways are just fair. Tight lies. Overall very good. I would play again. $100 is high. $80 is more like it.

Course was in great shape. Not a difficult course but really fun to play. Greens were fast!

Greens were in perfect condition And the fast speed added some challenge. Fairways great. Pace of play extremely good (played in a Monday). I’d recommend to my friends.

The course was in phenomenal shape best greens I have played on all season! The fairways were in great shape too, the layout is challenging but fun and the par 3s are amazing. I would 10/10 recommended this course to anyone
