About
This Robert Trent Jones Sr. design is one of the area’s most venerable venues. The fluid beauty of MetroWest provides for a challenging but playable experience. Wide rolling fairways give all levels of players the opportunity to find the short grass, and the four sets of tees working from 7,051 yards down to the 5,325-yard forward tees make hitting greens in regulation a reasonable endeavor. No push over, though, bunkers seem to anchor every corner on every dogleg and elevation changes of up to 100 feet in some circumstances tug back in the course’s favor.

Course is in terrible shape. No price is worth playing this course.
Great progress made bringing course back
This used to be one of my favorites but past few years was not great. Lots of work has been done and it shows. More needed to be sure but great progress.
Greens were recently sanded therefore were slow but rolled true.
Three guy golf
We thought the course was fair, reasonably priced and in good condition. The course gets more interesting as you play it. Nice folks in the clubhouse and cart staff.

Needs to improve
Conditions were ok for a course that charges $65 in the winter. Not $85. It was empty, which I love. But it’s empty because of the starter and ranger. They weren’t friendly at all.
Ok for a random round - but avoid if you can during peak pricing season
Course layout is great, but conditions, specially the tee boxes, are not worth $80. Pace of play was phenomenal though with a full course. Full round was just under 4 hours.
Overall, good option when the prices drop. Stay away at $80. No GPS on carts, just an FYI.
Need to invest in fairways and rough
Greens were great fairways were sparse on grass rough was poor with sparse dormant grass and dirt and sand
A value, but greens and fairways need work
Greens had mixed grasses, spotty and played un even. Fairways tight lies for me, lacked water?
First Impressions of MetroWest
We booked via Golf Now and check-in was very easy. Personnel were pleasant, starter was very friendly and informative about the course, and pace of play on a Friday morning was great. We were paired with 2?other players who were also unfamiliar with the course, but we still played in 3 hours and 55 minutes. The course was dormant in January, but the greens were in good condition and were quite fast. If players would be more courteous and fix their divots, the fairways would be in better shape. All in all, a good experience!
Course over priced considering it's conditions
The course's conditions are very sub par for the price being asked to pay. For the most part the tee boxes, fairways and greens are all patchy & in need of repair.
Still a work in progress
Course was on it's way back for a while, but feels like it has stalled. Tee boxes were not in good shape (see photo), fairways are pretty sparse. Greens were rolling ok - very fast with a decent amount of undulation. Range and practice aren't great.
Good Muni
Good course sneaky difficult, if you haven’t been there before.
Love Playing This Course
This is a must play for me every year we visit Florida.
It's a great layout with some challenging holes and the greens are new and fast. I really enjoy playing this one.

Crash the first tee box
Well, tee time is an optional concept. Once on the course all ironed out. Greens a little beat up but FAST.
