About
This Robert Trent Jones Sr. design is one of the area’s most venerable venues. The fluid beauty of MetroWest provides for a challenging but playable experience. Wide rolling fairways give all levels of players the opportunity to find the short grass, and the four sets of tees working from 7,051 yards down to the 5,325-yard forward tees make hitting greens in regulation a reasonable endeavor. No push over, though, bunkers seem to anchor every corner on every dogleg and elevation changes of up to 100 feet in some circumstances tug back in the course’s favor.

It’s a good course
Metrowest is a nice track in the middle of central Florida. You won’t find the amenities like other pricier tracks but I really like the layout. Always nice to see the friendly cart girl on a hot day!
The last hole is one of my favorites in Orlando
Big course feel at a small course price
Worth the money would play it again. Drinks at the turn was quick and easy. Bathrooms located appropriately. Cart was in good working order. After the round we were meet by staff to clean our clubs and hear about our round.
Great Day
Played with Tom and Barry and had a blast!
The course was open,with lots of peaks and valleys built in, challenging And super manicured!
Nothing but a great time with (2) Gentlemen @Tom and Barry who both helped navigate my first play on this couse, which I will play again in 2025.(nxt visit in the area) Please make sure the staff gives a special shout out to ensure @Tom sees this review. Tom who attended Villanova, in PA!
Great Value
Played here for second time, love the layout, challenging but not hard for us amateurs 😉. Course conditions were great, greens fast!!! Definitely worth the money!
Nice open course.....not too tight for recreation golf.
Fun local golf course.
Fairway grass too short for me. Limited grass in some areas to get good lie.
Snack and Drink cart only came on the 1st and last holes......needed snack about middle of 9 hole round.
Dog Track
Absolute dog track. They have let this course go to crap. There is no ruff area anywhere on course just weeds and broken concrete from the outdated cart paths. Very sad. Use to be a nice course.
Nice round at MetroWest (but slow)
Course was in good shape, holes were challenging, layout was nice, service was good, and the start was very friendly. Cart girl could be more friendly. Nice round. Course play was really slow on this day, but the starter gave us a hint that it might be due to a particular foursome. I just didn't expect at least a 1+ hole back up on just about every hole. Can't keep any pace of play and was throwing us off our game. I think this was unusual and they have rangers to keep it in check. Just picked a bad day.
Great course
Staff was great and greens were in great shape and rolled true. Sand in bunkers were great. Long par 5s which was fun
BACK TO ITS BEST
NOT PLAYED FOR OVER TEN YEARS. SO PLEASED I WENT BACK AS THE COURSE IS BACK TO GREAT CONDTION. ALSO STAFF WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY INCLUDING FATHER AND SON HELPING WITH THE CARTS.
LOOK FORWARD TO PLAYING AGAIN NEXT TIME.
Great few days at Metro West
Played the last three days here and really enjoyed it. The course is in great condition. I’ve played here last winter 2023 and in September 2023 and the overall conditions have improved. Hats off to the greens keeper and his staff, well done.
The fairways and greens are in great shape. My only suggestion would be a little better tee boxes would improve things overall.
Always enjoy playing the track!
Very average
They did not overseed so fairways were rough. Greens very average. I probably won’t go back.
The course is better each time we play.
The greens and fairways were in good shape. There are still a few bare spots but mostly those are in the rough which just needs more rain to help the grass grow.
The layout of the course is always fun to play.

OK course but I probably won’t go back. Everything about it is mediocre.
