If you used to play this course before the conditions went downhill, I would recommend you put the course back in your course rotation. The conditions are improving by the week. Always a fun course to play. Pace of play could be a bit better and so could the price to play. But it is that time of year.

The course was in great shape with a beautiful day also. The greens were very good and the fairway was perfect.

First, I can't say enough about the staff. When we arrive for our 9am tee time we were told there was a group of 20 in 5 foursomes ahead of us. We were ready to tough it out when the gail in the bar mentioned, go off the back nine. I checked with Johnathan at the bag drop and he said "let me see."

We did a little chipping and putting and just before 9am Johnathan sent us off the 10th tee, well ahead of others. What a deal.! We probably played 5 holes on the back before we ever saw another group making the turn behind us. Made the turn to the front, stopped in at the clubhouse, played the front nine and still finished in 3:30.

The staff is awesome, the course is a little scruffy. A few bad tees, a few bad fairways, a few bad greens. But for weekend pricing in Orlando not too bad. Obviously there is more expensive golf in Orlando, but cheap Sunday golf is hard to find. If you keep your expectations in check it's a fair course for fair value.

Course is wide open and pretty easy to play. Lots of hackers and newbies today. VERY slow, 5+hrs. Other player quit with 4 holes to play.

Metrowest has been getting better each time I play it over the past few months. There are some bare spots in the fairways that appear to be weed control issues, but the greens, tees, fairways, rough, and bunkers are all in good shape.

I would recommend playing.

The course has a medium difficult layout, is in excellent condition, especially the brains. The staff was very friendly and cordial and I highly recommend playing this course.

Have been playing Metro for several years and the last few it has been deteriorating. Just find the course not as lush and green as in other years. You can tell the maintenance / spend is slipping. Paths breaking up, Bunkers a mess, greens were OK for speed but a fair amount of weeds, and even old cups lifted and not prepped correctly. Tees were ok, fairways spotty in some areas.

Still love the course, it needs TLC.. not worth $50+ right now though.

I am a 26 year old golfer who has live in Dr. Phillips since I was 4. Metrowest was where I learned to play the sport and as a home course I have been up and down with management. Played recently and I have to say, please continue this improvement. There is incredibly noticeable improvement on cuts and greens, bunkers are beautiful, better than most in Orlando. Pace is still an issue, but in time, this can become a 10 min apart tee time venue with huge upside. Price may increase but I want to see the place succeed, especially after all the changes. KEEP GOING!

I been playing metro west for the last 4 years. I have never seeing the comerse in better shape. I highly recommend this course.
