Santa Anita Golf Course

Course conditions were great, pace was better than I’ve had here before.

Nice course but had to wait 10 minutes every hole. Ended up quitting after 13 holes

Had a fun time. Had a 6:26 tee time that started late. I'm guessing to much dew on the course.

There was a little wait at some of the tees and we finished the course in about 5 hours, where usually with an early tee time we finish in about 4.5 hours.

Why no beer cart???

TERRIBLE. AGHAST. Imagine sitting in a desk all day, you’re working hard, really digging deep into the US Open and doing some research. Your lower back is stiff, eyes are becoming blurry, you haven’t had your daily dose of Dino nuggets and macncheese. Then, your friend texts you about a twilight round at Santa Anita. You’re excited, ready to let off some steam, but are met with a 3.5 HR 9 hole round, rude staff, and even worse, we weren’t refunded. Really disappointing to see what some courses have come to! Well, I guess we live to fight another day… just not at Santa Anita.

It was nice to have a twosome in front and a foursome behind me. Got to enjoy a solo 2:57 pm midweek round in what would have been under 3 hours. Of course, that’s definitely rare amongst LA golf.

Course was in overall fair to good shape. Some shaggy tee boxes and the typical ball marks on most greens. Sand was good. Fairways also had good coverage.

Challenging course but fun course was in great condition

i love this course but the intervals of the tee times is horrific pace of play was super poor at one point we were behind 3 groups once we hit the second par 3 on the course they should really have at least to a 10-15 min apart tee times

First time playing. The course was green and well maintained. Pace of play was solid, never waited for too long and was never pressured from the group behind. Wish it was a tad longer like Hansen Dam, but in terms of over course this is probably my second favorite public course behind Hansen Dam. Would recommend playing here. Easy course to walk.

what a horrible experience at Santa Anita Golf Course. Front 9 holes took OVER 3 hours. Talk to front desk but he act like it is just normal there. No ranger, over book, many 3 carts in a group, 5 people in a group. This course is all messed up. Over priced. I won't go back to this course ever again.

Pace of play was nice we finally caught the group in front of us at hole17 even then they teed off right away no waiting get the early tee time if you can im glad I did 3hrs 45 minutes.

If they shorten up the par threes, the pace of play will improve tremendously. Every time I play this course, the backup starts at the two long par threes. Most players are unable to hit the greens playing from the blues.

Just the group ahead of us was so slow. One of the person in our group decided to leave after 9 holes

Played a round starting at 10:45. Start was on time. Check in was easy and quick. Course was in very good condition. A few dirt patches around the green side bunkers. The peaks and valleys of the fairways demand your attention on second and third shots. Fun to play.
