Sad course conditions
You would think a University course would be in fairly good condition by mid spring, wrong! Greens looked dead, the course was dry and baked. All the lakes and ponds were full so why not irrigate? This use to be a fun track but no more, Definitely not worth the time or money!
Nice course. Very playable.
Enjoyed our round. Played Orange Black nines. Fun layout which has plenty of variety. Well protected greens, treelined fairways and strategically situated fairway bunkers. Greens conditions were average but these have plenty of speed with subtle breaks. Traps were not in great shape. Busy course. Great value. Nice Proshop with friendly staff. Starter was not the happiest but helpful.
Play this course
If you could find the staff to prepare the bunkers daily you would get all fives from me.
Great time.
Well maintained, beautiful parcel of land. Go and enjoy!
Nice Course
Always Orange-Black , never the White , 3 times now same thing , but its a nice golf course and fun to play. I didn't care for cart party only on the longer holes , especially for a 68 yr old with a hip replacement, when you pay to ride and the worst was the PAR 5 ,, 9th hole , cart path only,, so wrong.

Absolutely fantastic course always injoy playing there staff is great . The Director of golf miss Martha I took 3 lessons from her and have been playing better than I ever had before. She is fantastic teacher I recommend several people to go to her for lessons and just did it yesterday when I played with a young man. This is a true diamond in the ruff for Campbell University.
Black -Orange / White never available
Black course has to many cart path only , so be prepared to do some walking. There are no carts to the cars so prepare to carry your clubs depending where you park.
Seniors that are fit will be ok , those whom cannot carry the clubs or walk some , would NOT recommend.
Need a heads up
Tournament that day. Made us play same 9 twice without notification during booking m. Drove an hour. Would chose different option next time
Excellent course
Challenging course for all levels and in excellent condition! Picturesque views and a great value!
Nice course, but not a fun layout
My only issue was with the layout of the course. It’s short, so even for a high handicapped player like me, I would have been better off hitting from the blues where I could use my driver. Only took it out of my bag twice on the first 9 holes.
Bunkers were hard as rocks.
No one else on the course on a Sunday, so I’ll take that as a win!
Awesome time
Awesome course, tee boxes looked good, fairways and greens were in really good shape! Can’t wait to play again here
Good course, painfully slow pace of play
This was truly a case of a good round ruined by absence of golf etiquette and no provision of a marshal by the course. You would think that a course on a college campus would have an abundance of help but not at Keith Hills. They only had one person to check you in, no starter, and no course marshals. We waited 15 minutes on every shot. There were at least 5 open holes in front of this glacially slow group. Five and a half hours to play on a Thursday that wasn’t particularly crowded is ridiculous. On the plus side, the course is an interesting layout.with plenty of elevation changes, good variety of long and short par fours, and tough par threes. I was just so frustrated by the pace of play that I couldn’t enjoy the lovely surroundings. They really need to provide some of their golf course management students to help in the pro shop, serve as starters, and maintain pace of play.
3 different 9's
Pretty decent winter conditions at the Campbell owned course. Black and White 9's very different, which is fun. Again, conditions weren't bad for winter, better than the other 3 courses we played that week in the Sandhills area, and the price on GolfNow was amazing
Not sure what course they were playing- greens are excellent and so are course conditions. May have been wet as course doesn’t drain well.
