Keith Hills Golf Club - White Course

The foursome that I was part of played in under 4 hours. Twice we were hit into by the group behind us with one of those bouncing off the top of the cart as we were leaving the green. No apology, "fore" nothing. The only time I saw a ranger was when I was returning the cart at the end of the round. We kept up with the group in front of us. Only an opinion here. If you don't want to commit 4 hours to a round of golf find a different sport to participate in and let the rest of us enjoy a good walk spoiled.

Challenging course and a great value. Really enjoyed the course.

I’m from out of town and found the course on Golfnow with a great price. Course was good and staff we great. But made the turn and came in to the clubhouse to grab a few beers for the back nine only to be told that the don’t serve. It’s there course and they are free to do that just wish it was in the course description so I could have brought a few with me. Other than that I really have no complaints, I had a great time and the course was challenging.

I had a great time at Keith Hills Golf Club with three friends. It has been on my bucket list for sometime.. The course was in great shape.

Everything is closed except the putting green. The putting greens on the course are in great shape. Very fair layout.

Keith Hills GC is literally everything you need and/or expect in a golf course and the golfing experience! I play and practice at this course year round and I have NEVER found this course to be even remotely in poor condition! At any time of year and any point on the course (practice areas, tee box, fairways, greens, bunkers and cart paths) the conditions are superb! I easily give this place 5 STARS in all but 2 categories, “pace of play” and “off course amenities.” Pace of Play received 4 STARS because there are times when the GPS on the carts restrict your movement and require you to back your way out (you know what I’m talking about) which can often times be both annoying and slow the pace of play - but understandable for preserving the course and carts. Off Course Amenities got 4 Stars for a couple of reasons, no alcohol sales or “19th hole” (this Is the Campbell University course, a private Christian university), and while there are sufficient bathrooms and water points throughout the course, I’ve experienced better “off course amenities “ at courses that offer ice, a cold towel, cold apples or other little tidbits that set them apart. (it’s the small things right).

But it also has to be said, they have the ABSOLUTE BEST practice facility within 60 miles! A driving range, short game range, putting green and chipping green, all with tons of targets and accurate measurements to hone in your inner TW! And for $5, you get 60-70 balls - incredible!!

Lastly, as great as this course is, it is priced EXTREMELY reasonable! I often find green fees advertised in the Golf Now app for as little as $20!! What’s not to love!! Enjoy!

The home of the Campbell Fighting Camels! I played here solely because of the discount afforded by GolfNow, and boy, am I glad I did. I played the black and orange nines and was extremely impressed by the course layout. Fun to play and challenging enough without me losing a dozen balls to play it. Greens were true. I come to Fayetteville every year or two to visit my daughter and this, along with Cypress Lakes, will be the must play courses for me while I'm there.

Had an early tee time pace of play was fantastic, finished under 3 hours! The course is challenging but fair. Greens were a little slow in the morning but are roll true. Hidden Gem

Good layout. Good staff. Nice fairways and greens.

First time playing KH. Played the black and white. I really enjoyed both tracks. The white is a little short but the overall course conditions were really nice. Greens were rolling true and in great shape. Will def play again

I'll get to the course and facilities in a minute, but first let me complain about the situation and how the clubhouse handled it. When I checked in an hour before my tee time, I was told I'd be playing the "White" and "Orange" nines. I had contact with the ranger at my tee time as well and was told no differently. After playing 4 holes, the ranger met my cart and told me that due to a high school tournament using the rest of the course, I'd have to play the White 9 twice. That is part of the second 18 (now 9) that was built in 2002. Part of the reason I chose KH's and drove an hour and a half to get there is because I hadn't played the original course in years, and I was excited to be able to do so, and now that wasn't going to happen. It turns out that the high school group was two hours late arriving, and had they been on time, I would have been able to play both courses as normal. I realize that might be unavoidable, but my problem with this is that the clubhouse should have been aware of this LONG before they told me. The high school group was late before I teed off, so I could have been told then, which would have given me the choice to go elsewhere. They provided me with a rain check, so they made it right, though. It was also very slow as they didn't monitor how they sent out the groups, and there was a foursome, followed by a threesome, followed by two of us, and the other single was only playing 9 holes, so had I played the other nine, I would have had to switch groups or play as a single at a VERY slow pace.

As for the course, it was in very nice shape, but still a bit wet in some areas with a few muddy shots to be had. The greens were beautiful, smooth, and very fast. If you've never played KH's, it would be worth playing the White 9 from the back tees if you're a decent golfer as it's pretty short - and I'm a short hitter saying this (210 yd driver). I had several short irons into greens when the wind wasn't howling in my face, even on one par 3.
