Keith Hills Golf Club - White Course

Had an early tee time pace of play was fantastic, finished under 3 hours! The course is challenging but fair. Greens were a little slow in the morning but are roll true. Hidden Gem

Good layout. Good staff. Nice fairways and greens.

First time playing KH. Played the black and white. I really enjoyed both tracks. The white is a little short but the overall course conditions were really nice. Greens were rolling true and in great shape. Will def play again

I'll get to the course and facilities in a minute, but first let me complain about the situation and how the clubhouse handled it. When I checked in an hour before my tee time, I was told I'd be playing the "White" and "Orange" nines. I had contact with the ranger at my tee time as well and was told no differently. After playing 4 holes, the ranger met my cart and told me that due to a high school tournament using the rest of the course, I'd have to play the White 9 twice. That is part of the second 18 (now 9) that was built in 2002. Part of the reason I chose KH's and drove an hour and a half to get there is because I hadn't played the original course in years, and I was excited to be able to do so, and now that wasn't going to happen. It turns out that the high school group was two hours late arriving, and had they been on time, I would have been able to play both courses as normal. I realize that might be unavoidable, but my problem with this is that the clubhouse should have been aware of this LONG before they told me. The high school group was late before I teed off, so I could have been told then, which would have given me the choice to go elsewhere. They provided me with a rain check, so they made it right, though. It was also very slow as they didn't monitor how they sent out the groups, and there was a foursome, followed by a threesome, followed by two of us, and the other single was only playing 9 holes, so had I played the other nine, I would have had to switch groups or play as a single at a VERY slow pace.

As for the course, it was in very nice shape, but still a bit wet in some areas with a few muddy shots to be had. The greens were beautiful, smooth, and very fast. If you've never played KH's, it would be worth playing the White 9 from the back tees if you're a decent golfer as it's pretty short - and I'm a short hitter saying this (210 yd driver). I had several short irons into greens when the wind wasn't howling in my face, even on one par 3.

Course was great. Very friendly staff and the carts had built in gps, so you could know your distances. I know it’s unrealistic, but I wish this course had put down some perennial rye on a few holes. It just feels better than hitting off dormant Bermuda, especially when it’s wet. Lots of nice big fairways and the greens were outstanding.

By far the best course in the area and cheaper! GPS in the carts is always a plus!

This course is always in great shape and always fun to play. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Beautiful course.

They had an inch of rain the day before so the course was very wet but still a lot of fun. The wet conditions are the reason for the 4 out of 5. I highly recommend this course. Bring your best game.

This time of the year course is beautiful. Changed colors make the course look different.

I've played all 3 of their 9's and each has its own personality with different challenges. It's always a fun course to play with great staff.

I bet I played well over 500 golf courses in the United States. This one came up as a hot deals through golf now. $20 for 18 holes and a cart on a course that's just as nice it's not nicer than any in Raleigh. I compare it to Lonnie Poole on that caliber as far as the course and challenges are. The carts are fairly new and have GPS that's very accurate on the cart and never had any problem with the technology.
