Double Bogey
Overall the course was a good value, until the cart locked up on the 18th hole. GPS said return to cart path, however I was on the cart path. It took over 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone and get the cart running again.
Annual Trip to KH
Greens had been aerified 3 weeks ago and have not fully healed. Cart path only due to rain in the past 2 weeks. Fairways are good, rough isn't that long but is dense. Greens are reasonable speed but a bit bumpy.
No cart
Went to play this course after booking on golf now, it had rained so they wouldn't let carts out, even on cart path only. Refused any discounts and said don't play if you won't walk. Worst experience there (I used to be a member) not sure if I'll play again which is a bummer since it's so close to my house. Should have at least been a reduced rate since no cart was included even though the reservation stated it included a cart. Might dispute with credit card company depending on their response.
Very quick pace of play
Teed off at 1:54 on a Friday with heavy cloud cover. Rain held off and had a wonderful round. Course was wet, so walking only, but the course is laid out well for walking
Cart path only
I have visited the Carolinas is long enough to know that it rain's hard and fast. It had not rained for 24 hours when I played this course, and the fairways were as dry as a bone. ...please implement the 90° rule. I walked more than the walkers behind me!
Cat party only?
I get it. I've visited the Carolinas enough to know that it rains hard-and-fast. You want to protect the fairways.
The day I played it did not rain the day before and the fairways were as dry as a bone. Yet it was cart path only.
Why not implement a 90° rule? I would have played the course at least 2 more times in my stay down here.But the card path only rule deterred me. Hopefully next time.
Not sure Staff is awake
I get it, college kid, summer job, probably somewhere else he would like to be, but at least have a pulse when you are standing checking people in or get a job somewhere else.
Also if it was 2 weeks since they punched their greens..2 weeks is more like 2 days.
That being said- still would recommend- love the course layout
Great value challenging course
The course was in great shape, the greens were airraded and putting was difficult.
Bad shape and $10 range balls
The Black course was in bad shape from tee to green lot of weeds torn up fairways and aerated patchy greens...first time i got to play the White course. I enjoyedthat nine. Was in much better shape....and come on guys 10$ for range balls ridiculous
