Great Greens, fast and true

A challenging track from the tips. Greens are in super shape. Tees and fairways are in bad shape. The greens are bent grass so it will be interesting to see them in 3 months. Have been told that they hold up well. The bunkers need some sand or at least need to be raked and cleaned.

Over-all, scenic, great greens, will go back. Hope the tees and fairways grow in.

A beginner friendly course

Experienced players and newer players alike should all expect to score well here. A very forgiving course with only 2 or 3 holes that could be considered challenging.

Good deal for the money

Charles T Meyers is a good course for golfers looking for a playable course at a great value. I paid $17 (thanks GolfNow) with a cart and it was well worth it. The course itself is not terribly challenging, with a pretty wide open layout. Some parts of the fairways could use some attention, but I would imagine the course will take care of this as the summer finally arrives. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. $1 cans of beer on Thursdays..... what else can you ask for? All in all, a great course to work on your game and not worry about losing a lot of balls.

Valve for the money

Great price for 18 holes. When I arrived I was informed that the greens had just been aerated but had been rolled several times. The staff made it right by giving me $20.00 off my next round! Other than the greens, the course is fine!

Good value for $19

With several value tee times on Golf Now it was a good deal for my son and I....there are some bare spots on the fairways that they are working on. Great course for beginners with wide enough fairways to stay out of trouble.

Bad time of the year to play this course

Not a bad layout and the people in the clubhouse were friendly, but the condition of the course was really bad. Soggy dormant bermuda...which was really more mud than dormant grass...had us aiming for the rough to try to get any kind of decent lie. Lift, clean and place doesn't matter when you can't even find a yellow tuft of grass within 20 yards of your ball. On the other hand, the greens were in decent shape so there's hope for this course later in the year.

Front 9 Fairways

The fairways on the front 9 have new sod laid down in places but they are coming around, the greens were all in pretty good shape. The par 5 5th hole is open again and the fairway is green but still new grass and bare in places. The back 9 fairways were all in excellent condition. This is 1 of my favorite courses to play a practice round and the course fairways and greens have really improved over the last 2 years.

Great value

They are working on some of the fairways that should improve the course overall. Fantastic greens for the most part. A couple greens had some rough spots but they were rolling true and fast! Enjoyed my round

nice course but it was severly tore up

The course was fun but a majority of the fairways were tore up beyond playable. Fairway for #5 was so tore up it was 90% mud and 10% fairway. We had to tee off at the 150 yard marker instead of playing a (would've been) fun 500 yard. Would play there again but not till the course gets better.

Nice, unrushed play, front 9 needs some work

This is a nice course, but the front 9 definitely could use some work; the fairways are very bumpy with lots of pockets of deep grass that swallowed balls. The back 9 is a different story - the fairways are in much better condition. Overall, the course is great for duffers, but still has good variety among the holes. You're not going to lose too many balls here; the fairways are wide.

That being said, there is a good variety with lots of elevation changes and water, which keeps things interesting. The value is pretty good.

Course id ok for public course, reworking hole 5 so it is a short par 4

Course is a nice layout there is some work going on, could use an irrigation system. But course is enjoyable.
