About
Neuse Golf Club was ranked as one of the best public golf courses in North Carolina, second only to Pinehurst. The layout winds along the Neuse River across rolling hills that are dotted with rocky outcroppings. Towering, mature pines accent the landscape as well, especially along the fairways. Each hole provides a dramatically different challenge and unique scenery. Views of the winding river can be enjoyed on almost every hole. A variety of bunkers and doglegs are strategically placed throughout the golf course, demanding both accuracy and thoughtful strategy. The design closely follows the natural contours of the hilly terrain. Dramatic elevation changes guarantee that flat lies will be hard to find. The golf course is no easy feat but the beautiful scenery and interesting hole designs will appeal to any player.

never disappoints
having play this course many time over the year it still stands the test of time.
tee boxes good, fairways great, greens had been sanded so they were hard and fast which makes putting a challenge.. :)

Neuse Golf
Loved the layout. Fairways in amazing condition. Greens not great, but what do you expect after it was Dusted. I am sure the greens will be a lot better in a few weeks. Still loved it and will definitely be back.

Nice Changes
Having played this course since it's early days of opening, it is great to see that this course is being taken care of again. The course was in excellent shape with super consistent fast greens. Pin placenta we're tough as the greens keeper seemed angry at times. Nonetheless, I will return again to play here. Great day of golf!

There was no staff in the pro shop when I arrived for my round. I sat in the pro shop for 20 minutes before just going out and grabbing a cart to begin my round. Due to this, I started late and was unable to finish my round before daylight was gone. I was only able to golf 11 holes before I could no longer continue.

Greens are Excellent
Great layout in great condition. Would be nice to have a little more sand in the bunkers....and a few less pebbles.

Such a consistent course
I’ve been playing this golf course since 1995 and it plays the same as it did back then. It’s so familiar and comfortable. Greens are awesome, fairways lush, and the bunkers are soft. I’m hooked on this track!
