About
Neuse Golf Club was ranked as one of the best public golf courses in North Carolina, second only to Pinehurst. The layout winds along the Neuse River across rolling hills that are dotted with rocky outcroppings. Towering, mature pines accent the landscape as well, especially along the fairways. Each hole provides a dramatically different challenge and unique scenery. Views of the winding river can be enjoyed on almost every hole. A variety of bunkers and doglegs are strategically placed throughout the golf course, demanding both accuracy and thoughtful strategy. The design closely follows the natural contours of the hilly terrain. Dramatic elevation changes guarantee that flat lies will be hard to find. The golf course is no easy feat but the beautiful scenery and interesting hole designs will appeal to any player.

Great track
This is now my second favorite course in triangle!
I love the Neuse. good condition especially for this hot time of the year. Pace was a little slow today on back nine. great deal on teeoff especially with $10 coupon from golfnow.

Fairways were good but bunkers had standing water
The Neuse was in decent shape, with the exception of the bunkers and were full of standing water.
Also, showed up at the 1st Tee for my Tee Time and there were 3 foursomes on the box. Not sure how that it possible. Other than the fact that they didn’t have a starter. A bit disappointed to say the least.

I love this course. course was in very good shape. only negative was that the greens were just sanded but putted very well. Also play was a little slower than usual today because I was behind 5 foursomes making up a monday seniors group and I was playing by myself but didn't mind.

Greens were aerated
Greens were aerated 2 weeks ago according to the ranger but they were still fairly bumpy. I would wait a while before playing here again for full price. They should be ashamed to charge full price when greens are this bad

Great shape!
The Neuse has done quite a bit over the years to improve their greens, course conditions and overall deliver a country club experience. I don’t think you can possibly go wrong with playing this course. It’s rather challenging and overall a great game of golf.

Greens were horrible
Aeration appeared to be recent. greens were bumpy and extremely slow

Poor greens
The fairways and ruff are in excellent shape however the greens are in terrible shape, they recently aerated and they don’t have enough sand on them so it’s very very bumpy. Bunkers are also in great shape. Unfortunately there was a tournament today when I played so it was very very slow.

Excellent Condition
Great course and greens were in phenomenal conditions. For the cost compared to other courses in the the area, you can get a more than fair deal. Only downside, as with almost all local courses, is no chipping practice area. Wish someone would start offering a nice one because I would be there all the time.

Best course conditions of any course in the Triangle
I have played the Neuse many times before its always in great shape. But. This time it was in the best shape of all time. Amazing job with the conditions. Most courses ive been playing have not faired well with the recent heat. But the Neuse is not fazed by it. If you havent played it in awhile you need to go
