About
Neuse Golf Club was ranked as one of the best public golf courses in North Carolina, second only to Pinehurst. The layout winds along the Neuse River across rolling hills that are dotted with rocky outcroppings. Towering, mature pines accent the landscape as well, especially along the fairways. Each hole provides a dramatically different challenge and unique scenery. Views of the winding river can be enjoyed on almost every hole. A variety of bunkers and doglegs are strategically placed throughout the golf course, demanding both accuracy and thoughtful strategy. The design closely follows the natural contours of the hilly terrain. Dramatic elevation changes guarantee that flat lies will be hard to find. The golf course is no easy feat but the beautiful scenery and interesting hole designs will appeal to any player.

Challenging Course
Course was in excellent shape, like blind tee shots, blind shots to green, sloping fairways This is your course ..... challenging but fair with a great layout. Mostly generous fairways.

This course was in great shape as usual. Greens have formed up with the cooler weather I guess which made it even more challenging than normal.

Neuse is a gem
I play courses all over the Carolinas and this is an excellent course. Very nice architecture and layout. A true "sleeper" and great value for the money, I will definitely be back.

Amazing course
1st time playing here and must say it was definitely worth the hour drive. Course is in fantastic shape and greens were some of the best I have played this summer. Will definitely be back

Neuse was in good shape
Got a very good Hot Deal and was happy to see the course was in very good shape. Bunkers were raked and the sand was very playable. Greens were firm and fast. definitely worth playing..

Good for all levels
We were paired with some players hitting from blue tees. The pace was good. Only drawback was a logjam in the clubhouse at the halfway point

Best Public Course in the area
Greens in great shape and very fast. Bunkers actually have sand in them as opposed to the concrete that's in most other courses lately since places don't seem to be maintaining them. Course in great condition all the way around.
