About
Neuse Golf Club was ranked as one of the best public golf courses in North Carolina, second only to Pinehurst. The layout winds along the Neuse River across rolling hills that are dotted with rocky outcroppings. Towering, mature pines accent the landscape as well, especially along the fairways. Each hole provides a dramatically different challenge and unique scenery. Views of the winding river can be enjoyed on almost every hole. A variety of bunkers and doglegs are strategically placed throughout the golf course, demanding both accuracy and thoughtful strategy. The design closely follows the natural contours of the hilly terrain. Dramatic elevation changes guarantee that flat lies will be hard to find. The golf course is no easy feat but the beautiful scenery and interesting hole designs will appeal to any player.

Fun course love the par 3 14th
Played in the winter so of course the great Winter roll. Greens were in decent shape also for Winter play. Staff at the counter and behind the bar were excellent. Definitely planning on coming back in the Spring and Summer.
The best
Still the best public course in the Triangle. Even in winter the greens are immaculate. The course is fantastic! Even the owner of the golf course was out turning over golf carts on an extremely busy day. That’s leadership! I always leave impressed.

First time playing the Neuse when traveling through the area.. Great layout. I would definitely play again and recommend

Course was in great shape
Course was in great shape, recently added more sand to the bunkers and patched up some spots on tee box's. I always enjoy playing the Neuse and will be back!

Great value for this course
The course is in excellent condition for this time of year. Pace of play was good but you should look to get your round in by 4 pm as the ball was getting hard to see with the setting sun and leaves.
