Played on Wednesday and finished right at 4

Hours. Moved well, group in front was ok two very slow players. Would have finished in 3 1/2? Course is really getting into great shape, 2-3 more weeks and it will be pristine. Appears they punched the greens a couple weeks ago, still some rough areas, heavy llines that throw your putts offline but it will be great. One of my favs in the Sacto area I’ll be back soon to see how the greens have come around.

The course is beautiful, but the greens and bunkers are terrible.

I understand that most courses plug and sand their greens twice a year, but these greens have been bad for some time now.

The bunkers are in need of attention. The sand varies hole to hole and in most cases needs to be better maintained.

Hard pan with little sand .

Had a good time, pace of play was good. One of my fav tracks in the sacoftomatoes.area. Greens we’re airated so that’s always a bummer but a good timek

Challenging and great shape. This course in the foothills never disappoints

First time playing this course, not for the beginner.

Course was well maintained with the exception of the bunkers.

They didn’t have much depth to the sand and they were pretty damp. Wouldn’t be such a issue, however there’s a TON of them!

Approach shots have to be on target.

The course was awesome. Beautiful day for golf. There was a glitch with GOLFNOW’s email confirmation showing my tee time an hour earlier than it was. Also The Ridge is not in the GHIN system correctly. No Location attached to the course. Given there are many “Ridge” courses across the US. This is an issue.

I would not have played had I known the greens just received maximum punch..

We didn’t find out until we arrived that they were aerating the front 9 that day. Consequently the back 9 was backed up and play was painfully slow and golfers disappointed. It was a beautiful spring day though.

Too many other choices at a reasonable price.

You guys should reevaluate your pricing because once you lose customers over price you’ll never get them back.

One of my favorite courses in the Sacramento area. Great challenging layout. A little slower than normal due to the rain and cart path only- which I personally dislike very much! Fairways didn’t look like they had been cut in a while, played very long! Greens we’re tough as usual, the subtle breaks around each hole makes it tough to score. Overall bunkers were in tough shape, some were like hitting off the cart path no sand, hitting the liner? Anyway still one of my favs, I’ll be back to try again.

I want this place to myself. It’s a great place to play. First hole uphill 200 yard drive is weak on this hole makes a difficult second shot. But don’t worry there are many holes to lose balls on
