The Ridge Golf Course & Events Center

Very fast round, as the course was not busy. Unfortunately, score was very high.

It was dumping the entire round however I can only imagine ho great this place must play with sunshine and dry conditions.

You can tell that the greens are very well maintained and will roll true when dry. The fairways are in great shape as well.

Good experience for the first time,lots of up and down hills, green are super fast and kind of tricky if you haven't play there the course is in great shape at this time of the year.

Finally was able to play golf outside because of the smoke from the nearby fires. Auburn was "above the smoke cloud" so we chose to drive to the Sierra foothills. Good decision, weather and course were perfect.

Fun, challenging and great course but pace of play was a downer. Outside of slow play I recommend. They need to have threesomes only for this course.

The course was in great shape, personnel were very friendly and accommodating and weather was perfect.

Have to hit it straight as there's trouble on both sides of most every hole. With the exception of the par 3's the greens have a lot of undulation, some are severe depending on pin placement. All in all a tough track but very pretty and with good facilities, carts have GPS, good staff, just bring your A game.

I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful course in the suburbs of Sacramento. Very nice practice area and pleasant amenities and staff. The course had a very reasonable layout with just the right amount of hazards and challenging greens. The pace of play was good for a weekend round. It's well worth the price and trip.

The course is in great shape. It has been hot as heck for two months and the in play areas are well maintained. Greens stimping around 10 feet.

The design by Robert Trent Jones is fantastic.. The more you play here the more you can appreciate the quality of design and maintenance.

This course demands that you keep it play... Challenge yourself here!

when I could not take the slow play any more I left after 14. on the way back there were three empty holes. I called the pro shop he wasn't very friendly. he said there maintaining pace, I told him pace of play is keeping up to group in front don't think I will be going back

The course was not very busy. The course was in good shap but the air quality was not so good because of multiple fires throughout the state. The heat was an additional issue which probably added to less play. This made the golf, even with under 3.25 hours, while my golf was very poorly played.
