The Ridge Golf Course & Events Center

I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful course in the suburbs of Sacramento. Very nice practice area and pleasant amenities and staff. The course had a very reasonable layout with just the right amount of hazards and challenging greens. The pace of play was good for a weekend round. It's well worth the price and trip.

The course is in great shape. It has been hot as heck for two months and the in play areas are well maintained. Greens stimping around 10 feet.

The design by Robert Trent Jones is fantastic.. The more you play here the more you can appreciate the quality of design and maintenance.

This course demands that you keep it play... Challenge yourself here!

when I could not take the slow play any more I left after 14. on the way back there were three empty holes. I called the pro shop he wasn't very friendly. he said there maintaining pace, I told him pace of play is keeping up to group in front don't think I will be going back

The course was not very busy. The course was in good shap but the air quality was not so good because of multiple fires throughout the state. The heat was an additional issue which probably added to less play. This made the golf, even with under 3.25 hours, while my golf was very poorly played.

Almost a 3 hour round after NINE HOLES. Behind a tourney. After traveling an hour to get to the course, sickened by incredibly slow play, course reps said they did all they could do. Will be boycotting for awhile

The course was maintained well and a nice Track. The rolling hills offer scenic beauty as well as a challenge to most levels of players.

Favorite place to play course is in excellent shape

The is in excellent condition. Greens were fast and in excellent shape too. Tough golf course from all sets of tees and you will hit every club in your bag. I really enjoy playing this course because it’s a good test for your game. I recommend this course to everyone.

First off the guy in the pro shop never smiled or seemed friendly. Apparently at some time they started a 9 hole scramble they slowed down play considerably. I’ve played here 3 times and each time there has been something to make me not like this course. This could be a great course, but not with the management they currently have. I doubt I will be back. The bunkers were in good shape though.

Try it, you’ll like it and it offers challenges from wherever you decide to tee it up

Would recommend to anyone. Great shape, great layout, great condition, playing it again in a couple of weeks!!!

Solid test of your game. The course was in good shape. Greens were true and reasonably fast. As a twosome, we played in 3 hours teeing off at 7:40am. Would play at the Ridge again in the future.

Tough course, but well worth playing it. The greens are outstanding and the fairways are well taken care of. I have played here quite a few times and will continue to play it.

Followed a tournament,,,the greens were fuzzy, so much slower than usual which made the scoring easier

This is by far my favorite place to play The course will test every club in your bag a golfers dream.

I needed to hit every club in my bag from the blue tees. Greens still recovering from spring aerification but putting okay. Rough is deep which made some holes very difficult if you miss the fairways. I play this course often and enjoy its character and it’s difficulty.
