The Ridge Golf Course & Events Center

Greens are fast, fairways are beautiful. Went out in a 2some on Sunday afternoon at 1:15. I was in my car heading home by 4:30. Not bad for 35 bucks on a weekend.

Played here mid week in the morning. Was damp and overcast to start, which kept the course relatively clear for a 10am tee time. We had two groups and everyone enjoyed it. No one is particularly good, and this challenging course swallowed a lot of balls from our two groups, but great scenery and intricate holes. I'd go back, but I'd need a few more lessons before I do.

The course is in great shape. The greens were a bit slower than usual. I have played the Ridge multiple times over the years, and it is always well maintained and fun to play.

Got out as a single today mid morning and they started me back 9 since there were quite a few 4 somes already out. Played back 9 in 70 mins! Front 9 was slow first 2 holes, but then got going with no hold ups. Total round time just a little over 3 hours.

Greens rolled well today, but they weren't as nice as I remember last summer. Quite a few imperfections on the greens and divots in the fairways. If everyone would throw some divot mix after hitting their ball and repair their ball mark, courses would always be in tip-top shape! I'll be back later this summer for sure.

Going on Mothers Day was tough, playing with a hungry mom and kids, was tough. They maybe could have had a few options to buy food at the turn other than sandwiches and hotdogs would have been great.

The course was in perfect condition! The fairways and greens were awesome! Could use a little trim in the rough areas, the worlds are a little high.

I played this course around 2001 at the age of 63. So clearly in 16 years I have lost a step or two. There were 2 negatives, the 90 degree weather and the state of my golf game. Otherwise just a fabulous layout in great condition. I think I made 5 pars, which is OK on a course this challenging. Once the two of us were let through, we had the last 10 holes to ourselves, which was outstanding. Highly Recommend.

I played the Ridge with three other guys and we loved the course layout and difficulty. It is truly an amazing course which we all played for the first time. Unfortunately we experienced two events which will make us reconsider returning to the course. We teed off in front of the men's club and behind a 3 some. The men's club 3 some behind us seemed impatient and hit near us on multiple occasions. They eventually picked up their drives and drove to the next par three in front of is. They sheepishly teed off once they realized a 3 some was slowing us down. We all found their behaviour rude and unwelcoming.

We finished our round and had a tremendous lunch at the restaurant. We watched a female golfer tee off and a male golfer was behind her on the 10th tee and he proceeded to tee off from the golds directly over her head. The shot was dangerous and the best way to describe it was uncivilized. We had all never seen anything like it. It likely opens the club up to some liability. Due to the uncivilized nature of the Golfers on this course we are hesitant to return.

This course was amazing, a lot of fun but very challenging, can't wait to play it again

We teed off right on time and made the loop in 4:45. Course was in fantastic shape however the greens were very firm and pin placements were hard. If you want a challenge, this course will give it to you.

I love The Ridge and will be back. Unfortunately they had just punched the greens. Love the layout and it's a challenge for all skill levels!

The weather was PERFECT so it adds to the enjoyment but overall, this is a very nice course to play at. The course is very well maintained and views were stunning. Definitely coming back again!

Terrible aeration job, too much sand left on the greens!

Unique, challenging design. Played 6,400 yd tees. Not a long course but challenging. Tight in spots, some water, and elevation changes. Also, undulating greens with tough pin placements. Wind can be a factor. Very nice greens but as with many public course, many patrons are bad about not repairing ball marks. Only criticism is below average range with mats, but not atypical of CA public golf. Enjoyed it - would play again.

This course is one of the exceptional golf courses that sets it apart from its competition. It has many spectacular vistas as well as challenges.

Great design. A real test for any player. This golf course will eat your lunch if you don't pay attention.

Its a top 5 in the region.

Great coarse!!!

The is the most gorgeous course I have ever played. It is hilly, long, challenging, and very fun. Plan on losing a few balls either in the deep rough, trees, rocks, or water. The rough is so deep that it is almost impossible to get out of.

I have only 2 minor complaints: #1: The fairways and rough were recently moved and all of the grass clipping were left laying on the ground, making it hard to hit out of. #2: The grounds were over watered making the fairways very soggy, especially in the low lying areas.

I can't wait to get back on this course!!

Excellent layout, and except for one or two transitions, very walkable.
