The Ridge Golf Course & Events Center

This was our first time here. We were a little afraid the course would be dry because of the drought. Far from it! The course is in excellent shape. Well maintained. The staff was super friendly. The course is challenging, but still fun for duffers. You pretty much need to stay in the fairways, but don't you always? The greens are undulating and fast, but roll true. We had a most enjoyable round and will recommend this course to friends and will certainly be back. I took lots of photos, it's that beautiful.

Typical Robert Trent Jones course. Lots of sand that is almost always in play. Club selection is critical. Undulating greens require touch. It's a nice departure to play a particularly challenging course. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The course has some issue. If you take your cart past a cart sign it shuts down and you can only back out. You can't get closer then 100 yards of the green's so be ready for a lot of walking. The green's are fast so be ready for that. We did enjoy the course and would play it again and recommend it to anyone.

Course is in great shape even after playing after a Tournament. Greens in great shape, good speed for average golfer.

Greens were punched about 4 weeks ago and are now rolling great. A few wet spots in fairway killed a few drives, probably due to the 15 degree cool down from the week before. Always a challenging course.

This course can be very challenging and it puts a premium on accuracy. It's somewhat of a target course due to the many hazards. Remember to bring extra balls.

Beautiful course, always fun to play here.

This course is difficult and plays pretty long, but it is fair and fun as well.

If you are reading this review to get an idea of the course, I can tell you: Most of the green complexes are guarded by deep bunkers, the greens are fast and challenging, the par 5s are not the kind you reach in 2 and water is in play on several holes.

This course will test good players. The Ridge is a grind.

It will be quite a while before we return here to play. They had some kind of small tournament in the middle of the day with really poor golfers that caused us to wait on every hole. Result was a new personal worst 5 1/2 hour round. Course did not disclose the tournament. No ranger on course, likely to save money. And they wonder why Millenials are not taking up the game? I have too many other choices in the Auburn area.

Firstly, we love this coarse. We play it whenever we are in Auburn. We love the GPS on the carts! Great graphics and accuracy. We hate the GPS on the carts. The GPS stops your cart when you're 3 inches off coarse.

Can't say anything negative. Excellent facilities, practice and otherwise. Greens were excellent, fast and difficult to read .

Played this course many times and it is always in great condition and very challenging. Staff is friendly and helpful will be back again.

Fairways in perfect condition. Greens in perfect condition. Receptive but quick. Greens idea rough and little patchy and not maintained by the bunkers, but that's nit-picking.

This course is always in good shape. a little wet due to the heat & the greens could have been mowed.

Wish there was a marshall, group was really slow in front of us & slowed us down.

This is one of my favorite courses. challenging but fair.

First time I've played this course and surely a repeat to come. Course in great shape. Challenging yet enjoyable for weekend players. Greens are fast but reasonable. Trouble is everywhere if you don't keep your ball in the fairway. course management is essential but not to the extent you're stressing out.

Had concern with overwatering in some areas where ground had standing water and fairways had some damage where carts ran over the wet mushy ground.

We had a 12:55 tee time & went off on time. Being about 100 degrees & clear skies, we had the course to ourselves and played in just under 4 hours. The greens were a bit slow, I'm sure because of the extra length to avoid burning them out, but rolled true. Lunch before the round was tasty and the staff very friendly. There were coolers on the carts & ice available to fill them as needed. I truly enjoy playing here.
