Panther's Run at Ocean Ridge Plantation

Good time at Panthers Run. The only negative was that I’m not sure on the distance on 18 from the white tees. I’m not a long hitter but drilled one down the middle and somehow it ended up in the front of the pond. A Bomb for me but seriously. Other than that, the course is fun and fair. Pretty good conditions all around. The attendants were super friendly. I will come back.

The fairways on the front nine were mostly dirt. Tee boxes were grown up and had no grass to speak of. Greens were surprisingly nice. Staff was great, for the amount of money this place is making it should have better conditions

Friendly layout for women and seniors. Fun course from the longer tees. Very tight firm fairways provided some extra roll and made it difficult on the poor swings. Breezy condition affected club and shot selection. The front nine greens were in great shape but a little slow. The back nine greens had some bare spots and some other grass in them that affected balls when they slowed down. I was a single, got paired with a couple from PA and had a good time. Finding were to go pick up a lunch order at the turn was an adventure.

Played multiple course down in the area and this was the first course that was in bad condition. Greens had been punched with a light sand so the ball would bounce around. Fairways were hard and dried out. If you’re in the fairway you should be hitting off grass, not the case for this course. Play also was slow taking 5 hours snd 30 minutes.

We’ve played Tigers Eye and Leopards Chase multiple times. Panthers Run was as in great a condition as any place I’ve played. The ocean ridge big cats courses are awesome. Haven’t played Lions Paw yet. 5 stars for panthers run. We all were very impressed and had a great time.

I don't review many courses, although I intend to do more in the future. That being said, I figured this would be a good place to start. The people who work at this facility are top-notch and very friendly! I messed up my tee time and booked the wrong day...haha. The guy in the pro shop fixed it immediately and had me at the tee off in no time. The course is fun, very playable, with lots of subtle dog-legs and water. The greens were in decent shape and ran relatively true. It's a bargain for the price I paid, and I intend to go back many times in the near future. The club has three other courses, and I can't wait to try them. I didn't play great today, which sometimes makes me a bit grumpy..haha..but this place put a smile on my face. There is nothing like good customer service and a well-run establishment! Do yourself a favor and visit this place; I am sure you will be treated just as well and will enjoy your round.

Played this course for the first time, and I was an awesome experience. Paired up with an older couple who were hilarious and so easy to play with. Will definitely be back when in the area

We played 18. The course was hard as a rock and dry as a bone. Some of the fairways were nothing more than dirt. Very little grass. You almost had to drill a hole in the tee box in order to put a tee in the ground. It was like rock. The greens were like table tops and many had huge brown spots on them. Did not see a beverage cart the entire time we were in the course. Very disappointing for a course in such an upscale subdivision.

Great layout.. bring extra balls… hard fairways bring water into play.. I loved the layout.. excellent price and the greens are in solid shape. I will play here again.

Nice course. Needs some updating, especially bridges which are falling apart! Restrooms and outbuildings are also run down vs the primary facilitiies. Greens were spotty.

The course was a little dried out. The tee boxes, the rough, even some of the fairways were quite dry. The greens were in good shape albeit a little on the slow side.

The range balls are the most eclectic collection I have ever seen and paying $5 for a bucket of 25 balls is one of life’s little ironies.

Panthers Run was a in great shape and was a challenging course to play. You were rewarded for hitting the fairway and punished for not. Well worth the money through Golfnow.

We got a GolfNow hot deal to play which was great value. The course was in good shape and the greens ran true although they were slow and hard to get the ball to the hole. The pace of play though was horrendous over 5 hours to play the round and we were a 3 ball waited on every shot. So I recommend this course but get an early tee time.
