Leopard's Chase Golf Links at Ocean Ridge Plantation

First time playing here and made sure I played the toughest of the four. I was really impressed with the course conditions. The fairways were green and plush. The greens were rolling smooth and true. The layout was tough; I got off the fairway on a few holes and paid the price. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered some great tips.

I will definitely make it back here.

What an absolute gorgeous golf course!!! Staff was incredibly nice and helpful since this was our first time playing here. The tee boxes & fairways were amazing with beautiful green grass and the greens…..PERFECT!!! By far the best course we’ve played this vacation week, wish we would’ve found it sooner, we definitely would not have played the last one at The Links at Brick Landing. Can’t wait to bring our friends to Leopards Chase!!! Well done and kudos to everyone here!!

Great course and friendly staff was a wonderful experience.

Overall, very pleased with our round at Leopards Chase. Staff was friendly and course was amazing. Only negative thing I can say is they ran out of golf carts. Our T time was 1:45 pm. It was almost 2:30 before we made it to the first T box. Other than that, our day was great. Challenging course. Lots of water and alligators.

Overall a great ground of golf. Greens were in great shape and fast. Couple of spots in the fairways but in better shape than the other course we played in the area. Definitely my favorite Cat course and look forward to playing it again.

Friendly staff especially Bob the starter. Very welcoming with a sense of humour.

Got out on time and finished in about 4 hours and 5 minutes.

The greens rolled at a nice pace and true and the tee boxes and fairways have a good amount of grass especially considering the current drought. Challenging layout.

Horrible experience with drunkards on the course. Just pick it up and go home.

Leopard’s Chase definitely belongs among the best courses in Myrtle/North Myrtle Beach & the surrounding areas. This is a difficult golf course but leaves you with a real sense of accomplishment when making par or posting a good score. It will be in my rotation of courses to play whenever I’m along the Grand Strand.

It has been a few years since I last played this course because at that time the conditions were not very good. Decided to give it another try and glad we did. The conditions were greatly improved. The course layout is very scenic and fun, with some challenging shots. Greens were very good and rolled true. Will definitely have this course in my rotation this year.

I have played a lot of courses in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding area over the years and unfortunately I do not plan on golfing here again. The course itself was is good shape and well maintained but the single biggest issue I had was with the pin placements on many of the holes. I understand trying to make a course challenging but where they located the pins completely ruined the overall experience. The greens had a lot of rolling hills and on at least 5-6 holes they placed the pin right in the middle of the most pronounced down slope so there was absolutely no way to have a chance at making the putts for a normal golfer much less stop it anywhere close to the hole if you did miss the initial putt. To make matters worse, we crossed paths with the course marshall on 3 separate occasions during the round whole he was tracking/monitoring rate of play but we only saw the snack/drink cart on the 2nd hole and never again the rest of the round!

Nice layout but course could be in better shape.

Not much of a clubhouse. Played front 9 in 2:10 but back 9 was awful 1:20 for first 2 holes. Called the pro shop and they came out and only slightly improved.

With so many other courses to play would probably not play again.

Quite possibly the best course I’ve ever played. Luxurious carts but no GPS. No bar cart out, but it was mid week afternoon. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very few people out playing, only caught group in front of us for last few holes. Tee to green like playing on carpet. Lots of sand and water but course was laid out such that unless you hit directly toward water the ball would stay in play. . Greens were in excellent condition and fast, rolled, and ran true. Definatly on the return list. Well worth the hour drive from Myrtle Beach.

The greens and fairways are in great shape. The layout and green complexes are fun and challenging. The staff is fantastic in the clubhouse and out front in the bag drop area, very friendly and personable. I have played all the Cats Courses multiple times and Leopards Chase is definitely my favorite!

Great condition golf course. Tea boxes are good. Fairways are good. Greens are very good. Sand in the bunkers comes from the beach. This is definitely the most difficult Cat course NOT for beginners.
