About
Rose Hill Golf Club in Bluffton is situated amongst plentiful live oaks draped with Spanish moss. There are also sparkling, crystal-clear lakes that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a part of Rose Hill Plantation, giving it a truly Southern look and feel. Most of the holes are flat and straightforward but there are a few tricky doglegs to keep the course interesting. The layout features formidable par 3s that will test even the best players and a notably difficult par 5 that measures just over 600 yards. The challenging holes are balanced with player-friendly features that make it versatile enough for a wide range of skill levels. Four sets of tees, the longest coming to just over 6,900 yards, make Rose Hill Golf Club even more accessible.

Great improvement
This course used to be one of my least favorite in the area. The amount of love and care the team has put into this place over the last couple of years is tremendous. Not perfect, but still really good. Only issue was pace of play, made for a very long round.
Best golf course off the Island near Bluffton
Excellent service. Accommodated us for a 2 person round. We have been playing this course for over 20 yrs now. It's in the best shape we have ever experienced it. I would highly recommend Rose Hill Golf Course. Their rates are reasonable compared to the other courses on the island.
Rose Hill after a rain storm
We were disappointed that we could not warm up on the driving range prior to starting our 9 holes. Since it had rained the night before we had to stay on the cart path. The course was well maintained and we had a nice time playing the course.

Much improved since I played it last.Still some work to do but I enjoyed the round. Staff very friendly and helpful
Incredible improvement
This course is quickly becoming one of the best public courses in Bluffton. The conditions here are excellent along with the staff and amenities.
Nice course
Up and coming course. Nice layout and course was in pretty good shape. Greens need a little more time to develop but still not bad. Will play again.
Rose Hill
Good value, course in good shape, greens just airaited so putting…..slow. Friendly helpful staff
1st time
Staff was awesome! Course was in great shape, a little wet from a lot of recent rains, but only 1 hole cart path only besides par 3's. Pace of play was great. We will be back!
HHI vacation golf
Staff was very friendly. Course was in good shape. We only finished 13 holes because a strong storm came through. We will try again.
Bar area was nice and the staff was very friendly there as well.
RoseHill
MY wife wanted to play somewhere new to her and having played RoseHill a few years earlier decided on taking a chance there . Pro Shop and cart guys were very nice , friendly and helpful . Greens were in great shape , fairways playable , could use some over seeding but no problem . Have already suggested this course to others .
Better than expected
Entire staff was personable and friendly.
Course was better than I expected,due to previous reviews.
Staff told us new course management has turned it around and will probably be even better in future.
Room for improvement
Fairways lack grass. The traps & tee boxes need some TLC. Pace of play is slow, but expected on a low level course. I would recommend for new or older players.
Great discovery
Have come to Hilton Head for years but haven't played Rose Hill before this year as it was shut. Sounds like the residents have taken control and are working hard to bring it back. Excellent value compared to the on-island courses. Will definitely be back!
