About
Rose Hill Golf Club in Bluffton is situated amongst plentiful live oaks draped with Spanish moss. There are also sparkling, crystal-clear lakes that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a part of Rose Hill Plantation, giving it a truly Southern look and feel. Most of the holes are flat and straightforward but there are a few tricky doglegs to keep the course interesting. The layout features formidable par 3s that will test even the best players and a notably difficult par 5 that measures just over 600 yards. The challenging holes are balanced with player-friendly features that make it versatile enough for a wide range of skill levels. Four sets of tees, the longest coming to just over 6,900 yards, make Rose Hill Golf Club even more accessible.

Rose Hill
Overall the course was in good shape considering all the rain. I liked the layout, the average golfer would do well .

COVID IGNORANT
First course I've played since March that did not have to sponges in hole to prevent ball from dropping to bottom thereby encouraging handling of the flag stick. Person in the Pro shop did not have amsk and none of the cart people had masks. Also water coolers on course. Only awareness of COVID precautions that I saw was that no rakes were in sand traps. Hopefully the carts were sanitized but I doubt it,
That said course was average at best. Not average for area but average as an average municipal course.
Some fairways were in decent condition others were not. Greens were in decent shape but slow. Tee areas were in bad condition.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PRIMARILY DUE TO LACK OF COVID PRECAUTIONS. Also much better courses available that are better values. Course is not in excellent condition.

Rose Hill Golf Course
Very nice course, would play regularly if I were a resident. Was a bit confused on why the staff had cart path only instead of at least 90 degree rule,course was plenty dry enough for it.

Communication bad
Was very disappointed that it wasn’t posted that the snack bar wouldn’t be open.
No signage or nothing mentioned on Golfnow site.
Couldn’t even get a hot dog and a beer.
Then when we asked about it, staff was very rude in explaining why.
Charging full price and no accommodations.what so ever.

Rose Hill Improving
I was pleasantly surprised to see the greens and fairways in much better shape then in the past. Fun course to play and everyone from inside to starter and range master were helpful and courteous. I will be back.

Rose Hill
Course is in good shape. Pace of play very slow. Rained on us at 9. Cooled it down a little but sure didn’t increase the speed of play. Rangers were out but still very slow. All in all a good day

Great Play/Great Day
Course was in outstanding condition, very scenic with various tee box options for a great variety of skill levels. Would recommend without reservation as you will not be disappointed. Also will add that staff was super friendly and helpful.

Course Conditions
Very few amenities iie no broken tee container on t boxes, just strewn about, No towels. Cart paths terrible Course has dead branches everywhere

Concession wasn’t open. No signs stating that. Course not in good shape.

Great Course
This was my first time playing this course. In my opinion, it’s the best course for the best value in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area. I will be back!

Nice layout
This course has a nice layout,. There are enough water holes to keep you straight. Good intermediate course for average golfers. You can score well with some well placed shots. Rangers keep the pace moving.
