About
Rose Hill Golf Club in Bluffton is situated amongst plentiful live oaks draped with Spanish moss. There are also sparkling, crystal-clear lakes that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a part of Rose Hill Plantation, giving it a truly Southern look and feel. Most of the holes are flat and straightforward but there are a few tricky doglegs to keep the course interesting. The layout features formidable par 3s that will test even the best players and a notably difficult par 5 that measures just over 600 yards. The challenging holes are balanced with player-friendly features that make it versatile enough for a wide range of skill levels. Four sets of tees, the longest coming to just over 6,900 yards, make Rose Hill Golf Club even more accessible.

Bad
Concession wasn’t open. No signs stating that. Course not in good shape.

Great Course
This was my first time playing this course. In my opinion, it’s the best course for the best value in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area. I will be back!

Nice layout
This course has a nice layout,. There are enough water holes to keep you straight. Good intermediate course for average golfers. You can score well with some well placed shots. Rangers keep the pace moving.

It’s making a great comeback!
Played this course years ago and it was not being maintained. Very impressed with how much it had been improved. It was enjoyable today. I am Looking forward to when the work is completed. Definitely recommend for all to enjoy today!

Nice lay out
This course is more than adequate value for $ .it was in good shape not great. Very playable with a pretty strong back nine. I would plag it again .

Single riding alone
Seems they have adopted a policy to charge an extra $5 if you choose to ride alone. With the COV-ID issues still active, you would think they would come up with more ways to attract people; not look to make money from it. Paying the extra $5 does not make any more carts available. That is not in the best interest of their customers. Not sure what they do if you have a threesome playing. Someone has to ride alone.

Tee time not booked as expected
The course is not in great shape right now. Fairways have little to no grass and greens are spotty. This is the second time we arrived for our scheduled tee time and found it was not on record. Tee time for Sunday booked on Thursday. The older gentleman at the desk was not very caring. A younger associate stepped in and told us he would work us in. The other players and myself are all embers of the club n=and had signed up for the three year special rates. I set up tee times for our neighborhood couples group. The many restrictions that were not initially discussed when we signed up, are causing us to quickly lose interest due to this treatment. We wish we felt like valued customers when we arrive, and especially when we run into issues such as I described. When we play, we enjoy the course and challenges it presents. Hopefully conditions will improve in time over the summer.

Nice course
Loved the contrast of front 9 v back 9. Did not like that a few of the greens had brown spots; and portions of fairways were weed ridden. Still, course was fun to play and price was right. Will likely play here again.

Great Day at Rose Hill
First time playing here with my Son. Staff super friendly and course is beautiful. Challenging but not crazy on the difficulty level. Only slight beef was beverage cart was not readily available. We will definitely return

This was an absolutely beautiful course that was in remarkable condition! I would highly recommend and I will be playing there again soon! The staff is beyond friendly and extremely accommodating. You will definitely not be disappointed booking you tee time!

Risehill
Nice layout and in good condition. Attracts senior and family groups so expect slow play. But the course offers a good enough set of holes to make the round interesting.

Fun layout
The course was in pretty decent shape especially the fairways. There were a few greens which looked liked they were just verticut but the other greens were in great shape. Really enjoyed the course and the staff was super. I would definitely play this course again.
