About
Rose Hill Golf Club in Bluffton is situated amongst plentiful live oaks draped with Spanish moss. There are also sparkling, crystal-clear lakes that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a part of Rose Hill Plantation, giving it a truly Southern look and feel. Most of the holes are flat and straightforward but there are a few tricky doglegs to keep the course interesting. The layout features formidable par 3s that will test even the best players and a notably difficult par 5 that measures just over 600 yards. The challenging holes are balanced with player-friendly features that make it versatile enough for a wide range of skill levels. Four sets of tees, the longest coming to just over 6,900 yards, make Rose Hill Golf Club even more accessible.

Friendly staff
Greens were great. Fairways... not so much. Pace of play was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Price was right.

Nice layout
I haven’t played this course in years. I really enjoyed the layout of the course. Nice looking holes. The greens were super fast and in good shape. The tee boxes and fairways need attention.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The clubhouse is new. Didn’t see a cart girl all day but that is okay for me.
Because the course is in less than ideal condition the green fees are quite reasonable. However this bring a lot of beginners some of which who take too long to play.
Anyhow, in it’s current condition this course isn’t for serious golfers. It is a good course for beginners.

Staff was great, next the greens were the best I’ve seen them in years, absolutely. .

I have played this course numerous times and had decided in March never to return,
Now I highly recommend it.
With the return of Spring the fairways will improve

Much Improved
I’ve played this course once 2 years ago. MUCH improved. The greens at Rose Hill are impeccable. I was truly impressed at the quality of them for a public course. No damaged spots at all, rolled true and fair and were very receptive to quality approach shots.
The rest of the course needs some work but you can tell the effort being put forth to improve the fairways and tees. Both have definitely improved but just not as much as the greens.
Staff was awesome. Grass practice tees. For the money you can’t beat the value in the area.

Much Improved
My in-laws live in the development so I have played Rose Hill once before, 2 years ago. I must say the course is MUCH improved. Greens are immaculate. Roll true, fair and very receptive. Very little to zero damage anywhere on the greens. I was really impressed.
The fairways were OK but you can see the effort they are putting into getting the rest of the course to see continued improvement.
Grass practice tees, which is always a plus. Staff couldn’t have been nicer.
For the money it’s a steal on the island.

for price paid this was very good value. Greens were in very good shape. Fairways were fair to good. Pace of play was good and staff was friendly

Still too pricey!
They did' not let us know ahead of time that it was cart path only, and for these kind of conditions the price was too high.

Rose Hill is Back!
Rose Hill management has made a great effort at improving this course. Greens are now in great shape. What a difference compared to a year ago. Great work on the part of the grounds crew. Rose Hill is challenging but not too challenging. Course is very scenic. Staff at Rose Hill couldn't be nicer. Very friendly and helpful. This course has to be the best bargain in the Hilton Head area.

Rose Hill has improved dramatically!
We played the course this past Sunday. The greens have been redone, they roll straight and true!
This course should now be added to everyone’s regular playlist . A great value!

Great Poppy Day
The only reason for a3 on the off course amenities was that we did not use them. Lots of Canadians today, all wearing their poppies. Managed to lose only one ball on this round.A wonderful 4th joined our threesome for a tremendous sub 100 day.

Steady Improvement
This course continues to improve under Andy Stephens. The new superintendent has resodded the greens and improved the turf conditions which have greatly improved the course. If this continues Rose Hill has the potential to be one of the best values in the low country. The track offers both challenging and forgiving holes to please all golfers. Just need to revitalize the practice holes.
