Rose Hill Golf Club

Played here 3 years and have avoided until yesterday. No significant change. Tee areas terrible, Fairways and rough, poor, greens crazy slow. It is mid-Febrary, but several courses played earlier are in much better condition.

Rose Hill is a very nice local course for the Bluffton area. Like most Bluffton courses, drainage is a challenge so we were CPO on the front 9 and 90 degrees on the back 9. The greens were not very fast but were otherwise in very good condition, especially for winter. The sand traps were in pretty rough shape, again owing to the recent rain and poor drainage. I also noticed several traps with a lot of small stones in them. They could use some fresh sand.

Overall, I thought it was a good course for the price. The staff were very friendly and eager to help.

We played the course several years ago andeere pleasantly surprised by improvements to the course condition since we last played.

It rained briefly during our game, greens and sand traps became very wet with water pooling on the greens.

Like the course but cart paths need lots of repair.. Good greens..

I felt like I got a great rate, the day I played. Golf Pass helped a lot.

Course was in fair conditions. Some of the tee boxes were rough. Greens were a little tall and putted slow. Once I got used to it, it was fine. The staff was very friendly.

I last played this course a few years ago when I was in the area. It was in terrible condition then. I had heard it was under new management and they had made changes. So I decided to try it again. They have made some nice improvements. The fairways are in much better shape. The greens are so much nicer than they were before. The only bad area were the tee boxes. Those need some TLC but other than that,.I found the course very playable this time.

Ok for the money 💰 Need leaf cleanup and greens faster,

This is the second time I played here where the restaurant was not open or closed early. The greens were brown or dormant.

This course was a 27 hole mess so I didn't played it for about 20 years. Recently, two nines were replaced by a new nine and the remaining nine (front) was re-done. The new nine compares favorably with other HHI courses; the old nine still needs some work. It's worth playing when the price is right.
