Very nice course
I drove three hours to play this course and was not disappointed. The fairways and greens were great, but must had some serious rain to trash the bunkers. I thoroughly enjoyed my round at this course and will definitely return.
Cheraw Golf course
Great course for the money. Greens are in good shape.
Excellent staff.
Challenging and fun
Have played here almost 30 years. The conditions are now the best ever. Each hole isolated from the others, no houses, and beautiful scenery throughout. Just a great place for a round of golf. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Not to be missed.
Peaceful and Joy
This is one of my favorite courses. It is a beautiful layout and nearly in very great condition all the time. No homes on this course...............and several of the holes have lake views. It is quiet and a true test for golfers of all handicaps due to the numerous tees on each hole. I wished I lived closer to the course. I would have given the course 5 stars except some of the bunkers need a little work. Still, better than most!
Etiquette, Etiquette, Etiquette
Rate of play was terrible
We were a twosome and caught up with a foursome on the 3rd hole. From there on we had to wait for ever on every shot. We were on every tee before they had tee'd off and they were playing off front tees. Also we. had a State Championship behind which started five holes behind us and they were catching us.
As they would not let us through we asked if they would ask their party of five foursomes to speed up, but the request was treated with contempt.
A Great course should not allow this
Course has a great layout
The course was fun to play a nice layout with some very challenging holes even the wife enjoyed playing.
Great course
We have told several times by different golfers to check out Cheraw. We finally made it down and were not disappointed. The course is scenic and well layed out. Will definitely be going back

Great course
This is an amazing course and hidden gem. Did not want to write a review just because I wanted to keep this amazing secret to myself. Great greens, course layout and staff. Must play and I drove 1.5 hours just to play it.
Recommend
This is a hidden gem in the middle of no where. I use to pass this course twice a month on my travels. Decided to finally play it because of all the talk, and quickly going out the hype is true. Great layout, great conditions and amazing staff. Loved so much going to make the 1:30 min drive in two days.
Great Course
Best bang for the buck in this area, The only drawback to this course is a lot of the bunkers are hard and have poor drainage.
Staff was great quickly checked us in and had us headed
to the first Tee.
