Not worth price
Was hoping for better. Decent lay out, fairways not grown in, so you will have bad lies even in fairways. Not one tee box, again not one tee box has grass on it. Only thing good about the course were the greens, not very fast but rolled well and true. Paid $45, wouldn’t play it again for anything more than $20 if that.
Good course
Cold rain had to play hot deal no rain check or redound left after 9 holes lost 40 dollars will not use site again.

Nice Layout
Played here for the first time while in town for The Masters. Unfortunately the rain made the course very sloppy and took away a lot of options. A very nice layout though and some fun holes and challenging ones as well. Staff was very friendly and in spite of the wet conditions quite a few golfers on the course but pace of play was awesome. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves and will play again next time I come into town to visit. Looking forward to seeing how it plays when the course is dry.

Have played here a few times only during winter conditions. Fairways are in tough shape from all the rain this year. Can't wait to play area courses when the grass is actually green.

The heavy rains have made this course a muddy mess. I wouldn’t recommend the course in its present condition. Once things dry out and grow in the course will return to its great beauty and value. April???
We have no reason to believe that the course won't dry out quickly and we hope you'll be back then.
Local Favorite
Chester continues to satisfy. The club house is small, but very nice since the remodel. I wish there were more food options.
The course is in very nice shape. The greens are well maintained and roll true & fast. The fairways are immaculate for a late fall SC day. The tee boxes are nice, but probably the weakest part of the course (not saying they are bad).
Always a great time and well worth the drive. I played with a friend and we finished in 3:30.

Exllent Golf Course
The course is in excellent shape despite recent heavy rain. It was still wet in some places and as a result it was cart path only so that slowed the pace a bit. The course layout is very good and fair with water hazards on several holes. Despite playing the course for the first time, our group never had any problems with blind shots or unseen hazards. Bunkers are in good shape and you can get up and down with a decent shot. Greens are holding and roll true without any impossible downhill putts so birdies can be had. We had a good time and will be back again.l .

Great day
I loved this day on the course, it is one of my new favorite tracks even thought it is a bit of a drive. The greens were perfect even after the 4"+ inches of rain this week. Carts path only yet expected. Clubhouse guys were very nice as usual. Not crowded, played in under 4 hrs starting at 10:08 am. The course was in great shape, a bit soggy yet better than expected.

Fall Golf
My friend and I played in three hours and weather was perfect.The course from tee to green was in great shape and greens rolled around a nine. I like the layout of the course because there are no home's on the course. I drive an hour and a half to get to the course and will. definitely be back.

Great Course
Staff was welcoming. Course was great sahape tee to green. Fairways are open, so slices can be found. Some challenging water holes. Will definitely be back even with 1 hour 15 minute drive.
Chester Golf Club: A Hidden Gem
This was my first time playing Chester, and I was so pleasantly surprised at the shape and layout of the course. I will definitely play there again!

18 tee boxes yet not one flat lie

Great course! Its has the same Quality as the other spring’s courses. Usually Not as busy as fort mill and springfield, its a little bit of a drive from charlotte and fort mill. Its worth every penny. Fairways are soft, easy to hit off of

US Kids at Chester
The Chester Golf Club hosted an US Kids tournament on July 22, 2018. The condition of the course was very good. The fairways were very nice with complete coverage. The rough was a factor as it should be. The sand traps were cared for and seemed to be in good condition. The greens were very consistent and the ball rolled very smooth on the greens.
Definite course to consider if you are in the area.
Great course not tough if you keep in the fairways
Have nothing negative to say about this course wish I could play it it three times a week
