Poor customer service
My husband and family played there on Monday and got rained out of 9 holes. The course gave them a rain check. They went back on Wednesday to play their second nine holes and each player had to pay an additional $8 even though they had already payed for 18 holes on Monday. I understand if you only choose to play 9 holes it is more expensive, but they chose 18 and unfortunately it rained. The golf course should have truly honored their rain check. Very disappointing!!! I would suggest that people play at Duck Country Club when in town. They are very nice and will honor any raincheck in full, anytime!!!
Wet
My day was wet and very windy but the course was in great shape. Short track but a lot of fun and the greens were fantastic. Greenside bar and grill was also excellent after the round.
Great Place to Play
I have played here many time when visiting OBX. Always in good shape and well maintained. Starter is a great guy gets you off in good order so that play is at a good pace.
Wonderful place to enjoy a round of golf.

Beautiful course
Great condition. Greens are excellent, with nice speed. Fairways are plush, good lies every time. We played on a busy Friday morning in 31/2 hours. Great food. I would recommend this course to any skill level golfer.
Always enjoy playing The Pointe. Nice layout, pleasant staff, and meet interesting people.
Powells Point CC
Very friendly accommodating staff, very good practice facility. The course was in good condition over all and the greens were excellent. The balls rolled true with no hopping.
Great Round at The Point
The Point is an excellent golf course. I have played it many times, talked with several golfers from various states while playing and have never heard anything but complimentary remarks about the course layout and playing conditions. Friendly staff and the course is always in excellent shape.
Pampered Golf Experience
What a wonderful experience. I was greeted and pampered throughout the registration process at the Clubhouse. The course was wide open and fun to play. Although crowded, it seemed to move at a normal pace. I'll be back for sure
Very enjoyable round. Very early in the season so the fairways were still a bit thin. Greens were very nice.
Very fair layout. Able to hit driver from most of the tees (not a placement course). Greens were quick and true. Staff was very friendly..

Played on a sunny, cool (48F) day in March. Course very quiet. Very playable. Greens were excellent even for this time of year. Friendly staff
A fun course
My wife and I are both average players at best, but this course is design allows us to play to our handicaps and not feel overwhelmed. It is a fun and challenging course that we will continue to play every time we are in the Outer Banks

The Ponte
This course is long and wide open. A pretty forgiving course as far as drives go but still challenging. The greens were in very good condition. Play did get a little slow but then again, it was a perfect weather day.
Real nice track
This was a nice change from going through neighborhoods for 18. Room to scatter, but still lots of water to keep you honest. Nice range of holes, you'll use most of your clubs. Early March conditions were good: greens were green and in good condition, fairways were tan and very playable. Friendly pro shop. A very nice experience.
