Meadows/Creekside at Traces Golf Club, The

a short overall distance course with several pro length par 4's in excess of 450 yards from the blue tees. this is a 27 hole course so there always seems to be a fast way around the course. 3 some finished in under 3:45.

The course was in pretty good shape. The greens are a little slow but in nice rolling shape. The pace of play was such that we played in about 3 hours and 20 minutes. My only complaint was the Heat it was really hot.

Me and a couple friends played this course on 7/7. I had not played at this course in several years and was very impressed. The front nine (Meadows) was in excellent shape. The greens were in as good a shape as any public course I've played this year. The back nine (Woodlands) was good but not in nearly as good as shape as the front. Some of the sand traps had grass and a couple of the greens had some sand or bald spots. Great value . Staff was very friendly as well.

Course in great shape, greens are immaculate and fairways plush! Staff nice and attentive!

As a beginner, I don't know too much of the golfing lingo. The courses (3 nine holes) are located in and around a subdivision. Great play. Lost a few balls, expected to as a beginner. Had a great time and met some nice people.

Picked this up on a hot deal as we were traveling through the area. The staff was excellent and the course was in great shape. Challenging course with fantastic layout. Would definitely suggest the course as we intend to hit it on our way back thru.

I play this course often. The guys at Trace's have this 27 hole complex in excellent condition! Of all the courses I have played this year, I have to say that Traces is in the best condition. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, I would definitely recommend that if you are in the area you should play it,

Thoroughly enjoyed this course. Great golf great price. The only reason it is not 5 stars overall is it was very wet from prior weather.

Course was Immaculate!! Staff was okay except for the guy directing golfers to certain holes & places & times. He even got mad because we stopped to get a hot dog & use the bathroom after the front nine. Other than that, the course was Awesome!!!

Traces is an absolutely beautiful course, it is very challenging also. My only complaint is there was a guy on the staff who was rushing people to play in certain places & had a bad attitude. He was mad because we were ordering food & using the bathroom after 9 holes, instead of just telling the next group to go ahead. Other than that, it is probably one the top five or six courses I have ever played. This is a gorgeous golf club!

Great course, great staff. Always a pleasure. Come on over to the Traces.

The course was in excellent condition. The staff was as friendly as they come. A real gem of a find.

The staff was great, the course is in very good shape, would recommend to any player at any level of play. The only problem is the golf now website, which charges an additional $ 5.00 per person when other websites only charge about $ 2.00. So what is the deal with that?

Played Meadows & Creekside. Fairways are in excellent shape. Greens are nearly healed up from being aerated weeks ago. Traces has done an excellent job keeping them watered. Speed of greens were just a tad slow, but true. Should be excellent in a few days. Course gives a good challenge and though greens are large, you better bring A game when it comes to putting. Staff always friendly & good to see the ranger out speaking to players & keeping pace of play in check.

Course is usually in good shape. Didn't know they had arriated the greens until we got to the first hole.

What a great place to play golf. Got a Hot Deal to play for $18 and it was well worth the 30 minute drive. I have played several different courses this year including White Plains Country Club and Cheraw State Park. This course was far and away the best course and best value. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Being our first time playing there, the guy in the club house took us out and showed us where our course started and ended and provided information about carts, the practice facilities, and the inside grill. There are three 9 hole courses and you get to play two for your round of 18. He was nice enough to point out that one of the courses had just been punched and recommended we play the other two. We ended up on Meadows and Creekside. Both were in phenomenal shape. This was the first course in the last month that I've played on that I could actually stop a ball on the green when I hit one on. We did get backed up somewhat on our round towards the end of Meadows, but Creekside played through at a nice pace. I did not get to experience the grill aspect as it closed at 3 and we teed off at 2:20, but they still had sandwiches made and nice snacks to choose from. All in all, a fabulous course for a fabulous price and I will definitely be returning here again in the near future.

Course was in great shape...staff was friendly and helpful...overall great experience, can't wait to go back!
