About
Village Greens Golf Club sprawls across over 100 acres of what used to be farmland situated between Inman and Gramling. Remnants of the old farm can be seen throughout the course, including pear trees from the original orchard that line the 10th fairway. When the golf course was built in 1969, many new trees were planted but much care was taken so as not to obstruct the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing nearly every hole with views that stretch from Glassy Mountain to Chimney Rock. The layout has a classic design that is playable for a wide range of skill levels. Sparkling lakes and ponds accent the landscape, coming into play on a few holes. Village Greens Golf Club's most memorable water hole is the course's signature sixth. This short par 3 features a semi-island green that is surrounded by water on two sides, along with three bunkers and out-of-bounds on the right.

Beautiful golf course.
Very well kept, beautiful fairways, the green should be better next couple of weeks after the aeration. Will play again.

Punched greens last week
Greens had been punched the week prior and sanded, wish we had known - they were plugging the green fringes ahead of our play - should be better in a couple weeks

Great course
They have just aerated the greens or would have excellent 5 star all the way around! The staff was very nice and grounds keepers also!!!

Nice golf course
All ok as we knew. The greens were a little rough but still fast... Enjoyed the course.
Airerated greens.
Course was perfect. They just airerated the greens. Next week they should be smooth rolling. Great little course that requires you to play smart. I didn't.

Course should be closed
No way to play. All greens being aerated. Tractors and dust everywhere. Front nine closed. No way this should have been available on golf now. Shame on both of you!
The aerification was announced on Golfnow and throughout the clubhouse and discounted rates were advertised. We're sorry if this message did not reach you!
Fun course
Large, fast greens. Placement golf on the dog legs. Fairways in great shape. Nice mix of short and long 4/5s. I’ll definitely play again.

Pace of play
Course was overbooked for a Friday took 4.5 hours to play a 2some. Pace was very slow.

Customer care
I thought the course was nice, but they have no policy that accommodates anyone with a disability. This is the first golf course with this indifference. I'm a disabled veteran and every golf course I ever played gave me a flag so I could take the cart anywhere on the course, except the greens ofcourse . Not this one. I won't be going back.
We’re sorry but only 2 holes are roped off due to golfer safety. All other holes are fully accessible and have been that way for 52 years. Please call the proshop and speak with Corey, he can elaborate!
