About
The Preserve at Verdae sprawls across a lush landscape of rolling hills and meadows covered with beautiful Carolina forests. Formerly known as Verdae Greens, the golf course was completely revamped but one of the primary goals of the renovation was to find harmony between golf and nature. The carefully reworked course does just that, blending seamlessly into its scenic surroundings. Rambling brooks wander across the layout and provide water hazards on a few holes. The wind is also a major factor on this golf course. The breezes can be either light and refreshing or strong and blustery, making proper club selection even more important. The most photographed hole on the golf course is the par-3 second. If you're lucky enough to come when the azaleas are blooming, this hole offers a breathtaking setting.

Great condition
Course is in great condition. They reversed the nines on us but didn't mind it at all.
Nice Course
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was laid out nicely with no housing surrounding the holes.
Good course for the money
Enjoyed the course. Greens punched three weeks ago so I bit slow but in really good shape. Fairways were in great shape some of the tee boxes were a bit beat up though. Nice lay out fair but tough course. People working there were very pleasant. Haven’t played in years but will be back much sooner. Thanks for the great experience.
Good shape, recently punched greens
They punched greens last week, but was not bad at all in comparison to other courses I've played with recently punched greens, plus they discounted green fee for this reason. Fairways and bunkers in good shape. Pace of play was ok. Just over 4 hours, so reasonable. I've played here before in just under 4 hours, so in the average.
Great course, great price
We were visiting the area and decided to golf at this course. What a great choice. The golf course is challenging, yet really interesting, beautiful, and fun. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. A great course at a great price. Definitely golf here if you’re in Greenville, South Carolina.
Enjoyed the course
My husband and I played in less than 4.5 hrs on a Sunday! Course was in great condition, challenging and fun to play. Everyone we spoke to were friendly and welcoming! If we're ever in Greenville again, we will definitely play it again.
Consistent and in great shape
Solid course in the heart of Greenville. Good value during the week.
Fantastic experience
One of the nicer courses i've played. The greens are amazing and in amazing condition. The course is fun to play, beautiful condition, very clean. I will be back to play this course again with my buddies.
Great shape, tight fairways, thick rough
Really fun course. Have to keep it in the fairway or the rough really punishes you. Thought it was in great shape. Would love to come back.
