About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Course play
Course was good but a little slow. Did not see a cart girl for snacks and drinks?

Good Price, course in Poor Shape, Too Jammed Up
Staff very friendly. We didn’t take advantage of any amenities so can’t comment on them.
First, I’ve never played a course that lacked a driving range. Strike one. Second, the starter told us we could tee off right away, 30 minutes early. Having arrived 30 minutes early to loosen up on the range that didn’t exist, we jumped at the opportunity to get off early. But there wasn’t a gap we were filling. We were just squeezed into an already crowded front nine. We had to wait on every hole for the foursome ahead of us
Ito tee off, and then a 10-15 minute delay at each tee box. Strike two. Finally, the course is undergoing significant maintenance, and really requires MUCH more maintenance (greens are inconsistent and choppy, fairways inconsistent with bare spots). Strike three. To be fare, the slow crowd ahead of us quit after nine and the pace improved. Play this if you’re happy with $37.50 for a mediocre course. If you’re looking for a decent course you have many other better options.
We see that you mentioned our staff was very friendly, which is terrific to hear. We'd love to hear how else we can improve since you only rated the course 1 star.
Short course
It’s a good course that is different. Narrow fairways with short holes. It’s a good course if you want to work on your long irons and short game. Was in decent condition. I would have enjoyed it better if I were playing better golf lol. They don’t allow anyone to tee off for 18 holes with in 4 hours of sunset. Which was a bit weird due to being such a short course you can play quick golf if no one is ahead of you

Valley at Eastport
Given how wet it has been the course was in very good condition. Little wet in spots but no major wetness. Cart path only on 6 holes but not a problem. Greens were in good shape. Fairways were a little bare that is typical of this time of year.

Valley at Eastport
The course was the driest we've played. There has been a tremendous amount of rain and this was the driest. Six holes were cart path only but the remainder were 90 degree rule.

Fun course
This was a fun and challenging course. Although it is short, there is a lot of water and a nice variety of holes.

Nice course
The tee boxes & fairways were in excellent shape. Green were good. The sand traps need some work, but considering all the rain overall not bad. They are doing some work on course, but I would say overall I liked it & would play again when drier.

Short challenging course
This course is short but challenging with water on lots of holes with challenging bunker placement. The greens were fast and challenging. Great course, nice friendly staff, we all enjoyed this course and would play again.
