About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Friendly Course
We try and play here at least once every few weeks. It’s 5 min away, course is usually in good condition and a little challenging. Staff is friendly and fees are reasonable.
Hurricane come through
We played the week hurricane debbie came through. It was just so wet. Love the layout and scoring opportunities.
Pleasantly surprised
Considering I played about a week after hurricane Debbie hit I was shocked at how good the course conditions were. Very nice layout challenging but fair.The only thing that was lacking was a yardage book especially for playing the course for the first time. It’s probably the best value for the level of golf you get in the area. Will definitely play there many times again.
Nice course - greens were a bit slow (sandy)
slow greens and slow play on front nine kept this from being a terrific round of golf.

Good course
The course is in good shape. Pace of play was great, not a long course. However the course has a few gimmick holes(hole 3) over water to landing area that barely anyone can get to. I would recommend for a quick round
Avoid
The greens were awful, bumpy with rot. The fairways a little better than the greens, but not much. Not an enjoyable round at all. I guess at $52 this is constant decent rate in this area, but there has to something better than this at this price.
The course was great
Lots of golfers. The course was great. The marshal wanted us to speed up a little but we had 2 groups in front of us and didn’t want to hit into them. Group behind us picked up our balls twice. Course in great condition
Thursday Golf
Golf on a hot day. A few golfers on the course. Fairways were in good shape. Greens were fast and fair. They always have tee times available.
Close, challenging, but player friendly
We played 18 holes on 7/20/24. Though it was cart path only due to a storm that had passed through the area the night before, it did dry out quickly and made play easier than expected. Beautiful grounds, greens were in top shape, fast play, though some course reconstruction was underway on a couple of holes, it didnt interfere with play. Some holes were challenging playing over the water the grounds are beautiful and very well kept.
