About
Santee National Golf Club possesses all of the charms of the Carolina Lowcountry but it is also nicely contrasted with highland terrain. The course sprawls across rolling hills covered with moss-draped live oaks that demand accuracy. Both the scenery and the challenges continue with pristine white sand bunkers that stand out against the lush greens. There are also five sparkling lakes throughout that come into play on several holes. The front nine is wide open but the course narrows as you move onto the back nine and it also becomes more wooded. It is a tough golf course but more forgiving than it seems. As the only Golf Digest 4-star rated course in the area, Santee National has a longstanding reputation with locals and it is also popular with visitors.

Santee National
Fairways have been overseeded and are in great shape. Greens are in good condition. This is a very enjoyable 18 holes of golf !

Great Layout
Played this course last year and booked it again. Love the layout. Course was over seeded and wet in many places. Greens were in good shape. Surprised it is cheaper than the other two Santee courses. Would love to play this course at its best condition.

NIce course
First time at Santee. I would play there again. There was an outing in front of me so it was slower than I would have liked, but still 4.5 hrs. Fairways were really wet.

Beautiful course layout
We had a very enjoyable day of golf. The course is in relatively good shape. The layout is challenging but not overwhelming. The greens are quite challenging. For the money this is a Special course. My group will be back soon.
A new favorite
Been wanting to play here for years and finally made it down with my son and it met if not exceeded my expectations. Aside from the standing water on a few holes due to recent rains the course was in great condition. Tee boxes and fairways all manicured nicely and the greens were especially in excellent shape. Some of the pin positions on this day were super challenging but that made it fun. We live just an hour away in Columbia but it felt like we were playing at a vacation destination type course. The pace of play was slow (it took us 4 and a half hours, we usually play 18 in three hours max) due to two or three groups ahead, so I guess it would have been nice to have a ranger keeping players moving along at a proper pace, but it was a Friday on a picture-perfect day so the course was busy, and I didn't mind being out there longer than usual because the course was so much fun to play. I will definitely be making the hour-long drive more often to play this course on a regular basis.
