Tee boxes ok. Thin fairways, some just ok, some pretty bad. Greens are coming around - most are rolling pretty well. Except 11 & 17. 11 is almost unplayable and 17 is closed with a temporary green. Hope the staff can get it back in shape for the season. Always have enjoyed the track.

It’s seems their fungus has returned on the greens. Several greens were in bad condition and one was closed. Bunkers were in good condition. Fairways were nice, but most tee boxes were barren.

I have played this course multiple times over the past couple of years and I really like the layout and the price is always good.

The greens were very hard and fast which was difficult to putt because I play a bit slower greens but all were in good shape except #17 which had the pin in the fairway I am assuming to allow the green to recover.

Overall a good course at a great price!

I enjoyed playing this course today. It was a great layout with challenging distance, hills, trees, and water/sand traps. However, the greens were in less than stellar condition. Each one had rough patches of sand it seems like they were going to do some work on at some time. Hole#17 was closed on the green, so they put the hole in the middle of the fairway. Interesting. Seems like these greens need some immediate improvement and attention.

Great Course set up! Was nervous due to the reviews of the course, but overall the greens were in awesome shape in about 90% of the course and the roll on the greens were amazing and I believe next year this course is going to be pristine. It is hard to find a course anywhere in the Midlands that was not affected by the Winter, even Cobblestone that charges over 30.00 dollars a round was in about the same shape as this course. Overall will play again due to conditions, price, and layout which was moderate. It is a course that relies on a perfect drive and an accurate approach shot, which good courses make you do. Little room for error, and was proud to shoot 80 as a 5 handicapper.

Great and fun course. Fairways are in tremendous shape. Tee boxes are pretty good. The greens ehhhhh they are very bumpy and have some dead spots. It appears they are trying to work on them. They have always been fast the previous times I've played but now there are some weeds and they just don't roll well. Other than that its a fun course to play. Hopefully the greens will get better.

Would love it if greens were more consistent. Some are really slow and all dried up, others are super green and fast.

Regardless of what others have written, the greens continue to be in bad shape. This was my 3rd time playing the course and I figured I’d give it another shot. The greens have not gotten any better the past 2 years and continue to have bumps from dead and bare spots.

All other aspect/areas were avg to above avg.

The staff was very friendly, they let me out early, and slow players let me play through. The greens were a little patchy in places with some burnt spots, but other than that, it was a great course. I will play here again.

Course was in better than average condition with the exception of the greens. Most looked to be snow covered but it was sand.

We played on a Golf Now hot deal. They had recently punched and sanded their greens so they were horrible. For Golf Now to rate this as a 4 Star course. Is an over rating. Their staff is always friendly.

My buddies and I had a great outing. The staff was very friendly and value was good. Hills on the fairways were expected but the greens were a bit challenging with their undulating layout and difficult pin placement. Close misses turned into 3-putts or more. Your approach has to be on the money or you’ll be picking up your ball and moving onto the next Tee.

With some TLC, this course could become very strong. It has good "bones" but it had multiple areas of thin to no grass and the cart paths were rough. I don't live in the area, but if passing through later in the season, I would like to see what it's like after the bermuda has a chance to grow in.

I've seen this course in good condition but that has come to an end. The greens were terrible. Some greens had way more sand and dirt and grass and all the greens were bumpy. Defiantly not worth the money. I have said that Indian River is one of the better public courses in the area but it is now the worst, even behind Charwood and Indian Trail.
