About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

stay away from this abortion of a course
played here a couple years ago and somehow its gotten even worse. entire fairways of just dirt. greens used to be good now they are poor. absolute garbage course. its a shame because its like 2 miles from my house. never again

Terrible Course
Worst golf course we have ever played - hands down. Very little grass on ANY of the fairways. Greens are decent, but fairways are terrible - mostly dirt.
Tee time was 10:30. Howver, there were no carts available for at least thirty minutes.
those that were fortunate to get a cart often had to abaondoned the cart on the course after the battery died. We were able to finish our round but we saw at least fourse carts left at various locations on the course. Neither Gold Pass or the course website provided any advance notice of the cart situation so be aware.

Fairways had no grass on it!
I can't imagine anyone paying money for this experience. When my foursome showed up, they gave us each a sleeve of Srixon balls and a voucher for a free hotdog. I was stoked! Then I understood why they did that. It was compensation for showing up! It took 10 minutes for some guy to ask us if we needed carts, then brought us the worst. I have back issues and the course was in such bad condition, I woke up the next day extremely sore. The fairways not only had zero amount of grass, but they had gopher holes everywhere and was a serious safety hazard just walking around. Twisted my ankle many times looking for my ball ON THE FAIRWAY! I'm in shock nobody has sued that place yet for negligence or safety concerns. Avoid at all costs unless you are looking to go 4X4ing for 5 hours.

Don't be fooled
Worst golf course I've been bamboozled into paying money for. You'd better drive the green every hole to find a single blade of grass. Driving range and staff are very nice.

Wow..
It’s the golf version of The Sandlot baseball field. Probably the worst condition course I’ve ever played on. Bring a bucket of balls to play this course. Fairways rarely have grass. The dirt/rocks/prairie dog holes will make your center of the fairway drives disappear with ease. The driving range is 100 times nicer than the course. Wish it was kept up better so I could go back, but it’s not - so I won’t. What a shame.

Gopher Holes
Great price from GOLFPASS with golf cart. Teed off at 8:45am. Round took about 3 hours, Tee boxes and greens in great shape. The rest of the course was mostly dirt with way too many gopher holes. Lost several balls that are probably sitting in those holes.

Don't waste your time
I have never played a course in worse condition! If you want to know what it's like to play on the moon, then try your luck. I could barely drive the cart on those bumpy dust covered fairways.

Quite the course
This place probably thrived in the 1970’s. We showed up, checked in and they didn’t have enough carts (even though we paid for them) we ended up waiting 30 mins for two carts.
The course it’s self has little to no grass on the fairway. The ball literally rolls and rolls and rolls. The sides are overgrown completely. After the first 9 holes we got hungry and stopped by the “clubhouse”. The lady was nice but informed me the kitchen was down. They only had chips and candy and no bar.
NOW: outside of the course, it’s between a few parks where straight up gangbangers meet and block off the street and do burn outs. We saw like 10 cop cars come flying through with their lights on chasing them. Overall I will not be coming back and neither should any of you.
