About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

This is worse golf course I ever played. There was no grass in 14 out 18 fairways, no sand in sand trap just dirt. I would rather not play golf if I had to play on that course.
Terrible
This place should not be called a golf course as i have never seen anything as bad as this.
It is a shame to charge anyone even a dollar to play here.

Horrible course and customer service
The fairways or all dirt. They put no money into the course and clearly don’t try to take care of the grass. Do not play here. When hitting out of the sand I had ants crawling up my legs. The course is also full of gopher holes and snake holes.

Tee boxes and Greens
For 25 or so bucks on a Saturday morning I used the course as a empty short game course. Fairways are gone but greens were rolling well.

In worse shape than ever, but still fun
Rule 16 covers when and how the player may take free relief by playing a ball from a different place, such as when there is interference by an abnormal course condition or a dangerous animal condition.
Needless to say, Rule 16 applies to most of the fairways.
The tee boxes are good and the greens are well cared for.
The bunkers are quite gravely.

Poor condition
Fairways are non-existent, yardage markers basically non-existent, the course has potential, nicely laid out, just poorly maintained.
I had a 2:00 tee time, I had to wait for a cart till 2:15, where's the thing when I finally got the cart, it was parked in front of me the whole time, inside the cart shack, it was as if they were waiting for a line before they brought any cards out??

Talked to a friend about this course, he said the fairways don’t have grass. I tried to cancel the reservation but couldn’t.

If you're feining
Made a last minute tee time at VC because I knew I could find a tee time. The greens at VC are very good. Everything else is rough. Fairways have no grass and rough is unkept where it exist. They are obviously not taking care of anything but the greens. Numerous rumors are out there about VC but it looks like this will be the last year for the course based on the lack of care. But if you just want to get out and swing your clubs, you can get it in at VC. Just know that the conditions are bad.

Worst Golf Course in America
This is not an exaggeration, this could pass more as a dirt bike course, not a golf course. Anyone who advertises this should seriously not do so moving forward.

I will not play here again...
From the minute we got there we had a bad feeling. There was a late for a cart and then when we did receive one was ripped, beat up and rough. Did not feel safe cruising around in it. The course barely has any grass and is not well kept what so ever. Very disappointed, we didn't even finish a full round. Would ask for a refund if we could.

Green Fairways
It was nice to see more green fairways this weekend. Me and two friends battled it out for top player and my lady friend gets honors. We love playing this course and can say we are now regulars. Everyone is friendly.

stay away from this abortion of a course
played here a couple years ago and somehow its gotten even worse. entire fairways of just dirt. greens used to be good now they are poor. absolute garbage course. its a shame because its like 2 miles from my house. never again

Terrible Course
Worst golf course we have ever played - hands down. Very little grass on ANY of the fairways. Greens are decent, but fairways are terrible - mostly dirt.
Tee time was 10:30. Howver, there were no carts available for at least thirty minutes.
those that were fortunate to get a cart often had to abaondoned the cart on the course after the battery died. We were able to finish our round but we saw at least fourse carts left at various locations on the course. Neither Gold Pass or the course website provided any advance notice of the cart situation so be aware.
