About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

Is this a golf course?
I’ve played at over 20 golf courses in the LA area and this was hands down the worst golf course I have ever played. The entire course was dirt, with the only patches of grass found on the tee box and the green. They also have a serious gopher problem and anytime I drove off the cart path I felt like I was Indiana Jones in the last crusade. It is blasphemous that this establishment considers themself a golf course, let alone charging people ~$40 to play whack a mole and ride around in the dirt. This place should not exist.

More gopher holes than grass!! Potential to be a great course, but what a dump.

Conditions not playable
In all honesty, they shouldn’t be charging for the rounds or just shut down the course completely. The fairways are literally dirt and concrete. They essentially tell you as much as a disclaimer before you play. We wanted to get out, so we played but quit after 9. I wouldn’t even call it golf on this course and $45 certainly not worth it. The staff was very friendly and upfront but the course itself puts the staff in a very tough spot to attempt to keep players happy It’s worse than you think, we won’t return.

Excellent and challenging course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are incredible. Course is in your condition. Excellent price for the quality. Would 11/10 recommend playing here.

Horrible fairways
The fairways are in such bad shape that the course should be closed. Really. I lost a couple balls in holes, and I had to replace my ball on a scrap of turf the entire round. Totally dry. The only redeeming feature is that the Goodyear blimp flies overhead.

Bad Shape
The starter did warn me but I was already there for my 6:30 tee time, fairways are 90% dirt and unplayable. Greens were in good shape if you could get there. Course is on a landfill and it sure smells like it.

I can’t believe I paid $70 for two to play in this “course” it’s literally DIRT except the green. Fairway has a LOT of holes. I lost sooooo many balls and I almost lost my patience

Potential but not worth the time/money right now
Course condition is absolutely horrible. 90% of the course is pure, hard dirt. I had to move every ball that wasn’t on the tee or green onto the closest patch of grass or plant life I could fine.
The course has potential but unfortunately no money has been invested for up keep. Wouldn’t mind as much if I paid like $15 but definitely not worth it for $50

Cannot believe they make people pay for this course
First time on the course and will be my last time. I played with a super friendly older couple so it made it bearable but the course is a complete wasteland. Aside from the greens, the entire course is just dirt. Literally. The pro shop guy warned me when I already drove 30 minutes to get there so I played anyway so I feel robbed. I cannot believe they had the audacity to collect $45 to let people play. It literally should be free.

So much potential
Nice greens if you can get there. Fairways look and feel like a desert war zone. The smell of reclaimed water is a nice touch. One and done for me.

A+ service. Go in with a sense of humor and you will have a great time
The fairway conditions have been discussed. The greens are very good and the staff is top notch. I always have a lot of fun and want to come back for more because i'm not overly serious. If you are the type to have a heart attack if your ball ends up on a bad lie or fell into a gopher hole this is not the course for you. Pace of play is the best I have ever experienced.

Worst course I’ve ever played
Waste of money and time. The fairways are straight up dirt. Someone needs to get this course back in shape because that is the worst conditions I have ever played in, and I have played a lot of courses. They should put this course up for sale or turn it into a junkyard. DO NOT GO HERE!
