About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

So much potential
Nice greens if you can get there. Fairways look and feel like a desert war zone. The smell of reclaimed water is a nice touch. One and done for me.
A+ service. Go in with a sense of humor and you will have a great time
The fairway conditions have been discussed. The greens are very good and the staff is top notch. I always have a lot of fun and want to come back for more because i'm not overly serious. If you are the type to have a heart attack if your ball ends up on a bad lie or fell into a gopher hole this is not the course for you. Pace of play is the best I have ever experienced.

Worst course I’ve ever played
Waste of money and time. The fairways are straight up dirt. Someone needs to get this course back in shape because that is the worst conditions I have ever played in, and I have played a lot of courses. They should put this course up for sale or turn it into a junkyard. DO NOT GO HERE!

Shockingly Bad
I read the reviews but was desperate for a Sunday afternoon tee time. Course is made up mostly of dirt and gopher holes.

Completely unplayable
Unfortunately, calling this place a golf course is an insult. The "fairway " is literal dirt. And not jut flat even dirt there are a bunch of gopher holes or whatnot. You can really only hit your tee shot, pick up your ball and practice around the green.

Do not play here
We looked up the course reviews on Yelp and even those pictures made it seem much nicer than it is. Every single lie unless it’s a par 3 is awful and there are gopher holes throughout the entire course. We knew to not expect the nicest conditions, but this was just terrible. I would never recommend this course to anyone. Awful awful awful

I had to laugh when one time out of the entire round, my ball landed on a small patch of grass

Worst Golf Course in LA by far
Fairways were mostly dirt and ground squirrel holes. It was dangerous to walk in the fairway with such terrible conditions. Greens were decent but rest of course was so bad it was unplayable. Calling this a golf course is a real stretch. Do not waste your money coming here.

Awful course
Waste of money. Not a “hot deal” terrible terrible fairway. NO GRASS ANYWHERE. If you want to ruin your clubs and lose all your balls to goofer holes play here. Save your money and go literally anywhere else

Dust Bowl!
Worst course I have ever played. No grass on the fairways. Big holes and bumps all over the place. You would rather hit the sand trap than the fairway even though the sand traps are hard as concrete.

Worst shape course I’ve ever seen let alone play at. The gentlemen in the pro shop was nice enough to warn me how bad it is but I didn’t really believe him. It was worse terrible. Save your money. I wouldn’t play here again for free.

I shot an 83, which for me is great. The greens were nice, but the fairways are hard dirt pan. Local rules allow you to pick up the ball and place it on the grass., if you can find some. It’s too bad because the course has good bones.

Poorly maintenenced
This public course continues to go from bad to worse. The fairways are dirt and there are so many gopher holes it’s difficult to get a decent lie. The greens are in decent shape but the fairways are a disaster.

Wasted talent
The Links at Victoria has a great layout. But the fairways are the worst golf history. Gopher holes all over the place. It's too bad nobody wants to that's the money in the fairways because the layouts amazing. But the fairways are solid dirt gopher holes. Very sad

there is a reason they were easy to book the day before. besides the greens there is absolutely no course management. the fairways are complete dirt. not just regular dirt but very hard and bumpy with many holes that squirrels have dug. if you can't find your ball it might of fell into one of these holes. if you don't mind dinging up your clubs a bit not bad for last minute booking

Well, if you like hitting off of Dirt for fairways this is the course for you. The only thing I will say is that the greens are immaculate. The course rules were that you could move your ball to the nearest patch of grass, no closer to the hole and if you hit it within 1ft of hole it was considered in the hole. I will never play this course again.
