About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

I feel like I was ripped off.
The course is a complete wreck!
The guy at the check in desk said that there were some dirt spots out in the fairways but to just drop the ball on some grass. There was hardly any grass to drop on and what was there, was mainly weeds.
GolfNow needs to drop this course off of their list.

Cannot Overexaggerate How Bad the Fairways Are
Hands down the fairways are in the worst condition I’ve ever played on. 75% dirt and rocks. Rounds should be half the price with the state of the course. Otherwise would be a nice course. But just unforgivable.

SCAM
Don;t trust the photos. there is NO grass in the fairway. You literally lose your ball in the middle of the fairway because there are rodent holes everywhere. I can't believe they are open

I miss having grass on the fairways.
I do enjoy playing this course, but it’s hard to overlook the condition of the fairways that with a few exceptions are getting to be rather bald. That is probably the reason that the pace of play has been improving lately, as a lot of people seem to be staying away as the course is expected to be closing in the near future.

You just can’t play it as is. So much dirt and so many rocks. I stopped using wedges and just 3 ironed everything forward. Wait till it’s fixed.

No Grass Available
There is no grass on most hole fairways (70%) and greens are pretty bad. I had to pick my ball up in most and move it to the nearest patch of grass available. It's that of hit from mostly dirt, rock, or/and mud puddles. There was grass on the tees and greens but not the best. Worst part was that it was $50 a person. Lastly restaurant/bar closes at 2pm and only sales beer and food. No cigars their or gold shop.

Driving range is excellent, also the greens are in good shape. on the other hand the Fairways are the worst I've ever seen

Could be nice
Victoria is a good, fair layout but the course is not in good condition. The greens are very good as usual, but the fairways are non existent. Rough is not maintained, golfers have taken over. Rumor is that this is the last year of existence. However, if a company gave it some TLC it could be a nice muni course.

The Worst Golf Course in America
As my title suggests this could quite possibly be the worst golf course in North America. The fairways are dry, rocky, sandy and arid making hitting a decent shot almost impossible. The dust developed from wind and carts makes it hazardous to your eyes. Other than practicing in its driving range, chipping green or putting green, I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone. Not even my very worst enemy.
Positives. Not many. The staff was friendly and the layout was decent. The greens played beautifully if you could get there. Hit a good green shot and it was likely to be in or close to the hole. The course needs water, lots of it. There were no water hazards indicating the property is on a very dry piece of real estate. I would likely never return to this course. Even for Free!!
