About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

No green color fairways, but great greens for putting
The place needs to improve its fairways, plain and simple. I enjoyed the layout and the challenges in each hole. The price is average $45-50 with cart, so other courses provide you better maintenance. Still, the course is one I would return to and hope they have maintained it over time.
Stay AWAY
1 Hour wait for a golf cart. $10 for 50 balls at the range. The fairways are Non-existent since the layout is ALL Dirt except for the greens. Owners and managers have let this course go. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s sold to the city and demolished. Nobody cares except some staff that are constantly getting chewed out. But this problem starts at the top and the top doesn’t give a hoot. Will never play there again,

Should be cheaper
I like the layout of the course, unfortunately they cannot keep grass here. Fairways are dirt, but I like that the greens are in good shape. You can get a tee time here usually which is good for how popular golf is now, but the price should be a little cheaper than it is.

Horrendous conditions
Staff was friendly and warned that the fairway was not in good condition but the course was awful. How could you truly charge full price for the course when the fairway is essentially concrete. Really disappointing.

Watch out! Fairways are Horrible/Greens are Great
If only they could match the fairways to the greens...then I would recommend it to a golfer. If you really don’t care then you should go...

Horrible course, full of dirt and sand not worth $
This course is in horrible shape. Barely any grass, felt like I was literally playing in the desert. This course should be $11-13 to play. It has so much potential due to the location but they just let it go, I guess. Very disappointed., Also Golf now needs to update the pictures on this one. Very misleading

Where is the grass?
Would be a nice track if they were able to get into even half-decent shape. There are basically no fairways, just hardpacked dirt. I decided to lift my ball and move it to the nearest patch of grass on most shots. I would not have enjoyed trying to play every shot as it lies off of rock hard dirt.

Extremely sloppy management
We checked in at 10:30 for 11:00am tee time. We were told that there were no golf carts and when returned they would be cleaned and returned for use. The man at the counter said we were all paid up and they would call us when carts were ready...likely after 11:00am so be patient.
at 11:15 they called one party.
then others came out of the office with cart keys. My husband went to check it out. A new man behind the counter told him that he was not checked in with him! My husband said well yes we were with the other guy.
So he'd call us when he got the other people going - what? already two groups ahead of us and one group loading up. We asked for a refund but said we have to contact GolfNow.
BTW the 1st fairway was mostly dirt as far as we could see, not at all inviting.
All in a disaster.

No Fairway
There are no Fairways. It's pure dirt and holes. The Pars are long and unforgiving. If it rained recently there are puddles eveywhere, in the middle of fairway, bunkers tee boxes. Save your money and play somewhere elses. The owner do not care about this course.

Un-fairways!
Everything was fine, especially the quality of the greens and the beautiful driving range. But, candidly, there really are are no fairways. It was all dirt and mud (after the rain) and that’s the big drawback of the course.

Mud pit
This place is a dump with no grass on the fairway. Not sure why anyone would play here. Don’t make the same mistake I did with this place.

Worst course ever
Many fairways have no grass and is just a dirt strip. And I don't mean a little dirt patch.. I mean over 50% of the fairway is solid dirt or sand. Sand traps not maintained at all and are unplayable. Greens are acceptable. Go anywhere but here. Driving range is nice.

It was raining so I knew it would be muddy I don’t understand why the city can’t seem to get any grass to grow here I know this about the course but it was beyond poor.
