About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

Course condition
The 50% of the fairway was bare, no grass and so many holes on the fair way.
However, the green was good contrition.
I will not recommend to play.
Do not play here
The course is in the worst condition it could possibly be in. There is no grass on the fairway, it’s strait rock.
Sad to see the city of LA letting this happen. The course could be really fun and easy if it was taken care of a bit more.
I will not be returning nor recommending to anybody.

Nice layout Unplayable conditions
First fairway may have 10% of grass the rest is dirt and mud. There are more gopher holes than can be counted. The few holes closet to the freeway are the only one that actually have grass. Tee boxes and greens are above average. Like Rancho San Joaquin in Irvine growing grass seems like a tall order.

Not that bad
If you can hit the ball pure with the ball sitting on a fairway of dirt, then you’ll be fine.

Worst fairways ever
The layout was good.
Worst fairways I've ever played on.
Dirt and mud patches on every hole.
No fun no reward for hitting a straight drive.

The course layout is beautiful and I think if the course condition was decent, it would be a pretty nice golf course
BUT!!!! the conditions were horrible. I mean HORRIBLE.
Basically you're playing gold on dirt. Just close your eyes and imagine a pretty decent course and then take away all the green on the fairway and replace it with dirt.
That's what is like playing here. I heard the course was built on a landfill so the conditions won't get better.
Horrible Experience
They should've paid me to play that course. My golfing partners had to pray we found some grass off the tee. The fairways are horrible!! All dirt and mud. The greens were awful so naby unrepaired divots. I will never play this course again.

Where to begin...well lets hop right into it. This by far is the worst course I ever played at. I now have something to say when asked this question. If you like playing in the MUD, (please reference my pictures) then this course is for you. All they have maintained are the greens and the tee box, middle game you're rolling around in the mud. I'm surprised why this course is still open, I spent $48.00 to play in mud all day. The drive down (1 hour drive) here was the nicest part of the day. The driving range is nicer than the course. They should tear the place down and build houses or sell it to a serious investor who wants to bring this course up to par. I literally should of read the reviews, instead of ignoring them and giving this place a chance. Again, take my advise and ignore this course at all cost. No matter how much you want to play, your clubs will get ruined.

DO NOT PLAY HERE. This is literally my first review of anything and I have to let others know. This is by far the worst golf course I have EVER played at. $45 to play here on a weekend and $37 to play during the week? I wouldn’t even consider playing here for $10. Tee boxes are iffy, greens are okay, but there is literally ZERO grass in any fairway 1-18. They need to shut this place down to renovate because I cannot see how anyone would want to return here after they play here. Just posting in hopes that someone might read this and that I might sway at least one person not to play here. AVOID THIS HORRIBLE EXCUSE OF A COURSE.

Links at Victoria 11-14-20
Every hole is dirt from tee box to green.My foursome was saying $30/person is too much. Worst course conditions I've ever played on in 40 years of golfing. I know this was a land fill but I've played this course about 20 years ago and it wasn't in bad condition. Today, there were pits throughout the fairway, gopher holes and very little grass. This is the condition of every hole. I was wondering why I was able to book on Wednesday afternoon two foursomes between 8:00am and 9:00 on a Saturday. See photos.

Possibly the single worst course in America
This course would be good as a dog park. Your better off staying at home and chipping the ball in your backyard, because I guarantee you the grass is better there. The fairways are 90% DIRT!!! How can they call this a golf course? This is despicable. This golf course is a disgrace to the game of golf. The pro shop is an absolute dump. I’m writing this review to warn other golfers. This is not a golf course. This is hard dirt with patches of weeds here and there. They should PAY people 45$ to play here. This course is poorly managed, maintained, and described. I am utterly with this course and everything this course stands for. Shame on you Victoria’s Golf course!!

Course needs a makeover
The fairways are mostly hard packed dirt with gopher holes all over. The sand traps are more like dirt traps and the only difference between the traps and the fairways are, the traps have a lip. Unless you want to play on dirt, you can play ''lift and place' but you'll be challenged to find grass on the fairway..The greens are okay and its pretty easy to get a time.
