About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

Not maintained
Simply not maintained. Literally no fairways. 80% hardpan. Decent layout, otherwise a bust given the way it's not msintained
Poor Course
This course has seen better times. Great routing, and could be a really nice course. They have really let this course go. Greens are fine, the rest of the course is ridiculous. NO grass in the fairways. Course maintenance is a foreign word for this course. Sad! You would be better off playing in a Vons parking lot. Same lies, but at least you can get something to eat and drink.I have played here many years.....NEVER AGAIN!!! They needto fix this, or blow it up. Save your money and book ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!

This course is in horrible conditions!
I drove out 40 mile to what thought was going to be a great experience at a links course. I have never played at a golf course with the most horrible fairways full of dirt and mud !! The invite golf course is full of gopher holes which I was not told at the pro shop when I paid for my teatime I lost nine balls in the middle of the fairway going in gopher holes very disappointed to play that golf course I don’t recommend it to anyone and I don’t understand how it could still be open with such an infestation of golfers on the property all the Vegetation on the property has been eaten up and is dried up because of the infestation of gophers what a horrible place to play this golf course is stealing peoples money by allowing play on it still I will never ever play that course again and I will tell all of my friends about it that place sucks Unfortunately I did not take any pictures because I was too busy looking for my ball in the middle of the fairway having to pick up my ball set it on a patch of grass so that I was able to put it on the green this is a joke that this place is open close this place down horrible horrible place to play horrible. I am actually thinking of going back to play just to take pictures and put them on another review I am not kidding you advertise this place as a links golf course it’s a joke triplane Rustic Canyon that’s a links course and well worth your money don’t ever play at this golf course it’s sucks don’t waste your money people

Horrible condition
The worst course I have ever played on! There is more dirt then grass on the course and it is hard dried up dirt not from people chunking the ball. The course needs major work and is not even close to worth the 45$ they charged to play with a cart.

More dirt than grass
Fairways are dirt roads with potholes all-over, and that's being nice. It is apparent they never attempted to maintain the fairway or rough, all water used on the course is used on the tee boxes and greens. Both the tee boxes and greens were damp and oversaturated while the rest of the course appeared to have not had water besides rainfall ( in LA that's never enough) for YEARS. The fairways look like the drive to Vegas dry, rocky, sandy, no grass in sight. Then you see the Oasis of a green then you feel the green slushing beneath you and you think does this place even have groundskeepers? What a waste of money and cause for great frustration.

Worst course in the nation
This is by FAR the worst course in the country. I cannot even put in words how bad this course is. It is 80% dirt and the other 20% is mostly weeds. It is so bad. If this is the only tee time available just stay home. It's awful. This place should be relegated to the ether.

Need to take care of fairways
I just played here a few weeks ago and my impression is not that different. The twilight rate was nice but they don’t have that many carts. When we arrived we informed that there weren’t carts available. Because it was not communicated to Golf Now we were comped a significant portion of the greens fees to walk which was nice of the attendant.
I hit the fairways a bit more this week and didn’t realize that if you actually hit the fairway that it will be 50:50 that you will be on actual grass vs dirt.
Greens are still nicely kept. Bunkers are not raked because of COVID but sand was fairly hard.
During twilight time there were a handful of golfers jumping on to different holes if they were waiting on a slow group.

Rip off and completely false images on gold now on the condition of this course. Let alone Golf Nows customer service. Can’t get anyone on the phone and they direct people to a chat feature for issues there’s a bot

Great for Practice
A lot of people complain about this course but it’s always packed with people. It’s awesome for practice! Range is large, large chipping area and two practice putting greens. Sure the course is... I call it challenging. I enjoy coming here and practicing my game on the course. If you can hit here you can hit anywhere!

Looks like they are ready to close
It's such a shame, the layout is good. Zero maintenance was done during the shut down. Very little grass in the fairways. It looks like it's on its laat legs.

Horrible course
If you like dirt hard as rock and the majority of fairways being aforementioned dirt, then this is your place. Worst course I’ve ever played.

Zombie land
The only thing missing was zombies. Do not I repeat do not book this course. There is no grass on any fairway worth noting. The place is a disgrace and an insult. Any common courtesy would include closing this excuse of a golf course. It in complete disrepair with horrific tee box that actually have mini sink holes. Please take this course off golf now ASAP so no one else wastes precious time and money playing here.
We just got rid of the zombies last week. We are sorry you had such a poor experience, we are working hard to get things to par. We hope you give us a try in the future, thank you for the feedback we have taken note!
Always fun for me
I play here at least 3 times a month .
It's no country club. Only problem is the huge dirt patches on the fairway.if I land on the dirt I just move my ball to grass. That's my only complaint.
Greens are exceptional n pace is always cool.
