The 18-hole Dogwood Trace Golf Course (formerly known as Lee Park Golf Course) in Petersburg, VA is a public golf course. Affordable course with average course conditions. Tee boxes and fairways were good. Rough was short and playable but some of the greens were starting to roach our. Greens were also really fast and hard. Only played 9 holes and it's a short course which I like so pace of play was pretty good. Fairways can be tight but the openness of the course allows you to find most stray balls. I enjoyed the round very much.

Great course !!! Staff extremely friendly and grounds crews does an excellent job keeping the course in shape, even in rainy conditions. Water comes into play on several holes which test you. It's really enjoyable playing here and well worth the drive from Richmond. Thanks guys !

Great course for the money. Fairways are in great shape. The rough is a little thick, the ball can disappear from sight on some holes. This course can be quite challenging for the novice. Straight drives will keep you out of trouble.
